Hey, Bryan, first step would be to get a free postimage.org account (photobucket works too -- if you can tolerate potential pop-up adds).
Then, upload the image from your computer to postimage.
Once you're done, postimage offers an option of copying to your computer's clipboard a "direct link" of that image to a message here at NGC.

They are easy to view once I click on them. If you want to not have to have people do that, I'd recommend using photobucket, although I personally don't mind clicking on the smaller image to make it larger.

Not bad. One thing too when I save any images on paint, I save them as a .png file rather than .jpg or .gif
