(scattered groans from the crowd) Here we go with the mood swings again. It's his game, folks. Let him throw the baby out with the bath water as we reroll 'em all. (rolling sfx)And they're ready for you to stop. (ding)There's a 2. (ding)There's a 6. (ding) (audience cheers)And there's a 5 for a non-Crag 13. How ya like that? Matt, the world is becoming your oyster. You have 61 points. A Crag will make you the new champion. Ian, now's the time to make a move. Remember it takes 100 points or the lead after ten rounds to win a game. This is Round 6 -- and we're going to the movies. Missing digit question: I'll show you the numeric title of a movie that debuted in 2007; it starred Gerard Butler as King Leonidas. What is the missing digit in the title?(ding)71 mastercards56 08 mjyr1 18 randomizer.org(Matt buzzes in)Matt?

(scattered applause) They think you're right -- but it's up to the big board. Is this movie titled "300"? (ding; audience applause)You better believe it. (rolling sfx)Matt, a Crag will make you the new champ. A low straight, any other straight, a triple or a non-Crag 13 would get you virtually at the doorstep.

(scattered groans) Not wanting to freeze any dice. Interesting. We'll see if this works as we reroll 'em all. (rolling sfx)Let's see what happens this time. (ding)There's a 4 again. (ding)There's a *5*. (dings; audience cheers)And we have a new champion! Double 4 came back, they were joined by a 5, they all made Crag -- and they made you a champion, Matt Johnson. Congratulations. That's another $2500. You've reached the goal of $5000. That gives you the right to roll the Super Crag dice for $1,000,000. (audience cheers)First, we've got to make a pit stop at the winner's board where more money can be won. Ian, we hope you had fun with us. You racked up $2000 tonight. We add it all to your previous winnings for a total of $11,500. (audience cheers)We also have some fine gifts for you backstage. Another hand for Ian Laudato. (audience cheers)But it is Matt who tries to win more at the winner's board. Matt, behind these letters -- C, R, A and G -- we have different amounts of money from $2500 to $5000. Whatever you find, you'll win that much money immediately. We'll also match that for your head start in the Super Crag. Which letter do you think hides the five grand?

(Doug in pre-recorded audio as contestant plug cue plays)If you'd like to be a contestant on Crag: The Numbers Game, call our contestant hotline at 1-800-555-CRAG -- or visit TraxProductions.net/crag.(audience applauds) And with that invite extended, we welcome Matt to the Super Crag for the first time. Matt, please say hello to today's dice girl, Candice, who's going to help us out. (audience cheers)Candice has the Super Crag dice cup. Inside the cup are the three Super Crag dice. They're smaller than the regular Crag dice -- but the stakes are much higher. Now since you collected $2500 off the winner's board, we're seeding the Super Crag pot with a different $2500. (ding)Every time you want to play Super Crag, you're risking everything in the pot and you're rolling all three dice at once. If you come up with a safe roll, you'll win the roll's official value in hundreds of dollars. All those 20-point straights -- the lows, the highs, the odds, the evens -- are now worth $2000 each. Three of a kind is now worth $2500. Thirteen in any combination pays $2600 -- *but* if that combination of thirteen includes a repeat of a particular number, that's a Crag for $5000. (audience cheers)Anything else means you win $100 a point. Now -- the moment you have more than $10,000 in the pot, you win tonight's super payoff. (rolling sfx)The board's randomly generating amounts from $25,000 to $50,000. It will eventually stop by itself to determine tonight's super payoff. (dings; audience cheers)Niiiice -- $41,000. But, Matt, it gets better than that. If you end up with *exactly* $10,000 in the pot, you win the mega bonus of $1,000,000. (audience cheers)Now for the bad news. Every roll comes with a risk. Candice is reaching into the dice cup and will show us... ...that. (scattered boos) Matt, we've replaced one number on that cube with a gremlin. If your roll includes that gremlin, you automatically lose everything in the pot and the Super Crag is over. So -- knowing the risks and the rewards -- I'll let you take the $2500 right -- or let you gamble away the money and roll the dice. What do you want to do? (audience shouts suggestions) (Matt, if you wish to play and roll, please respond with "Go for it!" or something to that effect -- and then a number from 1-100 inclusive. You'll see the result of that roll and the next few down the list of dice rolls until you win, lose or decide to stop after a safe roll.)

(Candice hands dice cup to Matt) All right. A Crag and a $900 roll, not necessarily in that order, would give you the million. Let's see if you can make this worth $900 or $5000. (Matt shakes up bucket; pours dice down ramp) (audience applause; scattered groans) Well -- that's 10 for another $1000. Roll a Crag on your next roll -- and you'll win the $41,000 bonus. Some crafty rolling's possible for the million. But a gremlin leaves you flat broke. Want to stop and keep the $5100 or roll again? (audience shouts suggestions)

(Matt shakes up bucket; pours dice down ramp) (audience groans; wonk wonk wonk wonk)Ohhhh -- fiddlesticks. Gremlin got ya. Sorry about that. Well -- 5100 bucks are gone. But you still have the $7500 you won in the match earlier. (audience cheers)And you're the champ. So you'll play against another opponent. Win that match and you'll be back here rolling for the super or even mega bonus. We'll see Matt on the next show. We'll see someone else play an audience game -- after this. Thanks for the eagle eyes, Matt. Fixed the post. Sorry about that.
While I wipe the egg off my face, it's audience game time. We're going to play a qualifying question this time. The player closest to the right answer to this question, high or low, gets a shot at up to $50,000.
After the main games in the match, Candice rolled three money dice. The numbers 1 through 6 were replaced with, respectively, a penny, a nickel, a dime, a quarter, a half dollar and a dollar. What is the sum of the single roll of the three dice? Please make sure your answer is lower than $3.01 and higher than 2¢.
Please PM me your answer. We'll reveal what Candice rolled in 24 hours from now. (And please notice the related poll I just put up. Thanks.)

All right. Let's go to the video clip. (Candice shakes up bucket; pours money dice down ramp) She rolled a half dollar and two dimes for 70¢ total. Too bad she needs another 15¢ for that bag of chips from the snack machine. Who's the closest to 70? Jill Manas Fan: 70¢Can't get much closer than that. It's Michael Clifford going for 50 grand -- after this.
We're back on Crag: The Numbers Game -- and we're a little short on time. Michael Clifford's won the right to play this audience game we call 2 Bucks. And 2 Bucks could become $50,000. Michael, I'll tell you how. But first, we need to determine how many times you get to roll a *pair* of money dice. Behind one of these letters in the word "CRAG", we have five rolls. Another hides four rolls. The remaining letters hide three rolls each. Which letter do you think will give you five tries at the money dice?

Well, let's see if the G is hiding five rolls. Is it? (ding) (audience cheers)It is. All right, Michael. Now that you get to the roll the pair of money dice five times, let's talking about the money dice. The numbers 1 through 6 have been replaced, respectively, with a penny, a nickel, a dime, a quarter, a half dollar and a dollar. The sum of the roll is added to your bank. If you end up banking more than $2.00, you'll collect a bonus of $10,000. *However*, bank exactly $2.00 -- and you win a bonus of $50,000. (audience cheers)But if you end up with less that $2.00 -- well -- you end up with less that $2.00. So on your fourth roll, if you haven't reached your goal, I'll make you a counter-offer to stop. When you're ready, Michael, give 'em a roll. (Michael, a number from 1-100, please, for your starting point.)

(Note from Doug: As pointed out in the two previous posts, Michael's only rolling a pair of money dice -- not a trio.)(Michael shakes up bucket; pours money dice down ramp) (scattered groans) Oh dear, aren't we starting on the long way to Tipperary? Double pennies -- would that it were double bucks. Candice just put a new pair of dice in your bucket. Our dice fetchers have raked in the others. We'll revisit the others later. Try it again. (Michael shakes up bucket; pours money dice down ramp) (scattered applause) That's better -- 60 cents. A buck-38 to go. Third roll coming up. Good luck. (Michael shakes up bucket; pours money dice down ramp) (scattered groans) Double nickels? Really? Two rolls to go. You can do it, Michael. (Michael shakes up bucket; pours money dice down ramp) (scattered groans) Man. These dice are ice cold today. Michael, you've racked up 78 cents with one roll to go. Tell ya what I'm going to do. Michael, if you'd like to forget all about the ten grand, I'm prepared to offer you $25 for every penny in the bank right now. That's a total of $1950.78 you can take home. Or you can decline the offer, try to roll at least $1.25 to surpass the goal -- and win the $10,000 bonus. What's your pleasure? (audience shouts suggestions)

I don't see $1.25 in the near future, so I'll take the offer.

Gonna take the money. Very well. (audience cheers) Now, Michael, before we cut you that check for 1900 and change, we have to know -- could you have made it? You were $1.23 away from two bucks. The least you could'ved rolled was a dollar and a quarter. Did you bail out too soon -- or bail out at the right time? Roll 'em one more time, please. (Michael shakes up bucket; pours money dice down ramp) (audience groans) Oh you would've made it! Oh well. But $1950.78 isn't bad for a few rolls of the dice. A nice hand for Michael. (audience cheers) Matt Johnson returns on the next show -- as he tries to add to his $7500 in winnings. We hope to see you then. For all of us on the Crag staff, this is Doug Morris saying -- make it a great day, keep the faith and treasure your loved ones.
