This is announcement from Billy Gardell.
Hello, everybody! Here are some news regarding my shows. All are resumed and Monopoly millionaires' Club will still be continued, despite being cancelled on America's TV. But still not sure about Let's Make a Deal. A second episode may happen, maybe?
Right now, Todd Newton is going to announce 2 new game shows airing on Channel 1, hit it, Todd!
Todd: Coming soon on NGC1...
Who'll be able to keep the secret and take a chance to unlock...
The Million Dollar Secret Vault ?
And who will be able to strike it rich and win the
GOLD?
Coming soon on NGC1!
Thanks Todd. Now let's take a look at the details of these shows. I've done a lot of work on them but these could still be changed.
GOAL: 5 contestants try to identify a Million Dollar Secret Vault, which is hidden in one of the 5 Secret Vaults.
RULES:
Main Game = 4 question rounds, each ends with a 'Vault Search' and 'Final Decision' comes after the 4th Vault Search.
In each question rounds, I ask a series of 12 questions with 3 multiple choices, only one of them is correct. The first to buzz in gets to answer. If right, they get $100. If not, the others try to buzz in. If the second player to buzz in gets it right, they earn $100, if not, the question is tossed away.
After all questions have been asked, the player with the highest money accumulated in that round only will get a chance to do the 'Vault Search'.
If there's a tie, we count the incorrect answers to break the tie. If it's still a tie, a tiebreaker question is asked.
Vault Search:
The winner of each round gets to pick 1 of the 5 secret vaults to take a look at. That player will know what's inside the vault. Only one of the five secret vaults will have $1,000,000 worth of something. The others contain... nothing.
After that, the host will ask 3 questions about the player and the vault they've seen. It's up to them that they will lie or tell the truth.
When all questions have been asked, the round ends.
Final Decision:
After 4 rounds, we will rank the players by their total money earned in all rounds. If there's a tie between any ranks, we count the incorrect answers, if it's still a tie, a tiebreaker question is asked. The players are then awarded bonus money based on their ranks; $2,500 for 1st place, $1,500 for second, $1,000 for third, $500 for fourth and $100 for fifth.
Then, a final decision begins, 1st place picks one of the Secret Vaults to reveal. If they reveal a Million Dollar Secret Vault, they are crowned champion and get's to play the bonus round. If they reveal an empty vault, the player in 2nd place continues picking, then 3rd and so on until someone found the secret vault.
Bonus Round: Crack the Code
The champion has 5 chances to find the code to unlock the Milion Dollar Vault.
The code has 6 digit, with all digits have different numbers from 0-9.
The champion has to submit a 6-digit code and the vault will compare with the secret code.
Let's see how it works. If we enter 1-2-5-6-7-8
1 | 2 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 |
1 | 2 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 |
The numbers in green mean that number is in the correct position.
The numbers in brown means that number is in the code, but not in the correct position.
The numbers in red means that number is not in the code.
So we retry and enter 1-2-3-4-6-5
1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 6 | 5 |
1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 6 | 5 |
4 greens and 2 browns and that means if we switch that 6 and 5 we'll have 1-2-3-4-5-6.
1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 |
1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 |
There you go, $1,000,000.
If the champion can identify the code in 5 tries, they win $1,000,000.
If not, we award $100,000 if they could get 5 greens, or else, it's $10,000.
The champions retires after 5 consecutive wins or if their total win is more than $1,000,000.
GOAL: Make it though all 3 rounds and win 2 kilograms of gold!
Current gold value is about $39,400.74 per kilo, anyway.
3 contestants, 3 rounds.
ROUND1: Golden Picture
We have 5 'Catchphrase' pictures. The first to buzz in gets to pick a picture in random and guess what they see. A contestant have 1 try per turn, if one gets it right, he/she earns 1 point. Two points sends the player to Round 2. Last player standing is eliminated and will receive a one ounce bar of gold.
ROUND2: Golden Guess
We have 2 sets of 2 gold sheets (A/B and C/D), each sheet contains 10 words, each word has a clue attached to it.
The player who advances to this round first will get to pick a gold sheet, A or B.
Then they have 60 seconds to identify the words from the clues.
2.5 seconds are taken per clue, a guess takes another 2.5 seconds. The player may pass, which will cost 2.5 seconds.
Each word is worth a point.
After one played a sheet, the other player plays the remaining sheet.
Then the player who is trailing will get to pick a sheet , C or D, first, followed by the leading player. But this time, each word is worth 2 point apiece.
The player with highest points after all sheets have been played is crowned the champion and gets to play the bonus round. The other player goes to the redemption round. A perfect 30 will score an ounce of gold as a bonus to the scorer.
REDEMPTION ROUND: PICK IT RIGHT
12 boxes are present. 10 of these have 1 ounce of gold. 2 have a stopper. The loser picks one box at a time and collect gold until they find a stopper.
However if the player found a stopper at their very first pick, they get a chance to pick again. If they found gold, they win 1 ounce of gold, if they found another stopper, they win half a kilo of gold!
JACKPOT ROUND: Golden Scale
Before the round starts, the champion picks a number from 0-9, if it matches with the number generated by the show, they win 1 ounce of gold and get an advantage in the jackpot round!
In the jackpot round, there are 6 items presented. The champion must sort all items from the lightest to the heaviest. An ounce of gold is awarded for every correct pick. If they can sort all items correctly, they win 2 kilograms of gold! Or IF the champion gets a matching number before the round starts, sorting just 5 items will make them win the jackpot!
The champion retires after winning jackpot or after 5 wins.
That's all! It may be a bit long, but suggestions and comments would be appreciated. These shows' pilot will air in next week! Pre-applications are appreciated through PM!
