Burton Richardson: Get set, internet! It's time to Come on Down!
*clips of past big winners are shown*
From Net Game Central in cyberspace, home of America's favorite game and the world's most fabulous prizes, it's The New Price is Right! And now, here's the host of The New Price is Right, KEVIIIIINNN KOLLSEEEEN!
*walks out of door #2 to a cheering audience, takes microphone from one of my models and takes a bow*
Me: Hi, everybody! Thank you for that warm welcome and thank you, Burton. This is The New Price is Right where we have tons of cash and prizes just waiting to be won. Let's get right into it starting with whom, Burton?
Burton: We're ready to begin with CCSCO! Come on down! You're the first contestant on The New Price is Right!
Me: Come right over here, CCSCO, welcome to The New Price is Right! Now, I want you to stand right over there and look into that camera. I want all of the internet to catch your reaction when Burton tells you this!
Burton: CCSCO, my friend, you have a chance to win $100,000 in cash!
*mixed cheers and boos from audience*
Those reactions from our audience mean only one thing. CCSCO, you could win as much as $100,000 playing Pay the Rent. Now, in this game, we have six small prizes which you are going to move into that house over there.
[$100K][][SAFE] [_$10K][][TELEVISION][BATHTUB] [_$5K_][][STOVE][COUCH] [_$1K_][][MAILBOX]
You're going to start by putting one prize on the mailbox. Then, you'll put two prizes on the stove and the couch on the first floor. You'll move onto the second floor and put one prize each on the television and the bathtub. The last prize left over will go on that safe in the attic. The total of the prizes on all four levels must be in ascending order and you win money if they are placed as such: $1,000 on the ground floor, $5,000 on the first, $10,000 on the second and $100,000 in the attic. However, after you've placed your items I will give you the chance to quit at each level because if you go on and you're wrong on any floor, you leave this game with nothing. Now, let's hear about these six prizes, Burton.
First, CCSCO, we're going to start with this Pureguardian Ultrasonic 100-hour humidifier. It emits warm and cool air for relief and will keep your home refreshed.
Lose the rake with this Hitachi 170 mph 441 CFM handheld leaf blower. Enjoy power and reliability with its commercial grade 2-stroke engine and auto-return stop switch.
Get in the game with this Wilson A800 game-ready SoftFit 11.75-in. right-handed adult baseball glove. Ideal professional training for or just a friendly game of catch.
Moving on, from DeLonghi, this 0.5 cu. ft. digital convection toaster oven features user-friendly digital controls, pre-programmed toaster settings and LED display.
From The Sharper Image, multi-tasking will be a breeze with this blender system which includes stainless steel blades, shatter-proof cups and a power unit base.
And finally, this lightweight Hoover WindTunnel upright vacuum cleaner is air-steerable with three channels of suction and is easy to maneuver with its telescopic handle.
CCSCO, take a good look at those prizes and tell me which one you want to put on the mailbox.

Okay, the lovely Charlene will move the toaster to the mailbox...
[$100K][][SAFE] [_$10K][][TELEVISION][BATHTUB] [_$5K_][][STOVE][COUCH] [_$1K_][][TOASTER OVEN]
Five prizes left, what do you want on the first floor?
[HUMIDIFIER][LEAF BLOWER][BASEBALL GLOVE] [BLENDER][VACUUM]
CCSCO: The humidifier on the couch and the blender on the stove.
Me: Okay, Terri and Jewel will put both those prizes over yonder in the house...
[$100K][][SAFE] [_$10K][][TELEVISION][BATHTUB] [_$5K_][][BLENDER][HUMIDIFIER] [_$1K_][][TOASTER OVEN]
Three prizes left, CCSCO. What are you putting on the second floor?
[LEAF BLOWER][BASEBALL GLOVE] [VACUUM]
CCSCO: The leaf blower on the TV and the glove on the bathtub.
Me: Very well, move those two items if you please, Jewel and Terri...
[$100K][][SAFE] [_$10K][][LEAF BLOWER][BASEBALL GLOVE] [_$5K_][][BLENDER][HUMIDIFIER] [_$1K_][][TOASTER OVEN]
And there is only one prize left...
[VACUUM]
Charlene, that vacuum is going all the way up to the attic.
[$100K][][VACUUM] [_$10K][][LEAF BLOWER][BASEBALL GLOVE] [_$5K_][][BLENDER][HUMIDIFIER] [_$1K_][][TOASTER OVEN]
At this point in the game, we're going to see how well you placed all those items. We'll start you off on the ground floor with $1,000. What's the price of the toaster oven?
[$100K][][VACUUM] [_$10K][][LEAF BLOWER][BASEBALL GLOVE] [_$5K_][][BLENDER][HUMIDIFIER] [_$1K_][$220][TOASTER OVEN: $220]
*ding*
It's $220. Now, if you want, you can take $1,000 and call it quits or we can show you the prices of the two prizes you placed on the first floor. The catch is if the combined total of the humidifier and the blender is not higher than $220, the game ends with you winning nothing. If it is higher, you'll move on with $5,000 in your pocket. What do you want to do?

Okay, then, $1,000 is yours. Let's see how this would have played out, though. Show us the price of the blender...
[$100K][][VACUUM] [_$10K][][LEAF BLOWER][BASEBALL GLOVE] [_$5K_][][BLENDER: $59][HUMIDIFIER] [_$1K_][$220][TOASTER OVEN: $220]
$59 which means the humidifier had to have been more than $161 for you to move on. What's the price of the humidifier?
[$100K][][VACUUM] [_$10K][][LEAF BLOWER][BASEBALL GLOVE] [_$5K_][][BLENDER: $59][HUMIDIFIER: $119] [_$1K_][$220][TOASTER OVEN: $220]
*relieved applause*
$119 for a total of...
[$100K][][VACUUM] [_$10K][][LEAF BLOWER][BASEBALL GLOVE] [_$5K_][$178][BLENDER: $59][HUMIDIFIER: $119] [_$1K_][$220][TOASTER OVEN: $220]
You made the right choice, CCSCO. Show us the rest of the board, please...
[$100K][$195][VACUUM: $195] [_$10K][$235][LEAF BLOWER: $150][BASEBALL GLOVE: $85] [_$5K_][$178][BLENDER: $59][HUMIDIFIER: $119] [_$1K_][$220][TOASTER OVEN: $220]
Congratulations on winning $1,000. We'll be back with more show after these messages!

Burton: Promotional consideration provided by V8. Not eating enough vegetables today? You could've had a V8. 100% vegetable juice and two full servings of vegetables in every eight ounce glass. And now, here's Kevin Kolsen with The Price Was Right!
Me: Thank you, Burton. We've got three contestants ready to bid on an item from yesteryear. First is Mark because he won that snowmobile and motorcycle. Next up is CCSCO who won $1,000 playing Pay the Rent and bidding last is Twentington who won that dishwasher. The item in question is from the year 1995. Take a look!
Burton: A new computer! Experience the power of multimedia with the Tandy Multimedia PC! The new standard of home computing is here with digital audio, advanced video-style graphics and a high-speed CD-ROM drive. Also features Microsoft MS-DOS 6, a Windows 3.1 operating system, a 3 1/2-inch floppy drive, 130 megabyte hard drive and built-in MMS-10 stereo speakers.
Me: Let the bidding on that begin with Mark!
