(4,1) A five. (buzzer) No good, and Matt wins the first game! (Game win sfx) All right Matt, you've won yourself a Christmas tree and $1,000 cash. You have $5,600 after that first game, and we'll play our second game after this. (Fade to commercial)

(Back to the studio) All right, we are back for the second game of the match. And although we already have cash in column three, we're feeling extra generous today seeing how it's Christmas and everything. So we're putting $5,000 cash in column one. That makes the total value of cash and prizes for our game 2 board a nice, round $17,000. Let's see how the numbers line up.
4 9 3 7 6 5 8 1 2
Hot column this time is column three, and here's the first question of the round. According to The Washington Post, what color suit can the Korean version of Santa wear in place of red?

Let's do just that.
X 9 3 7 6 5 8 1 2
Here's the next one. This Pokemon move prevents the target from switching out or running away and was introduced in Gen II. What is the name of this move?

(5,3; a Pikachu pops out of the dice and flies off screen) I don't know how a Pikachu got in there, but I know that you've rolled an eight.

Let's use "Knock Off" on 1 and 7 and see if that's very effective.

7 and 1 are now off the board and here's the next question. Chhena cheese is a type of cheese that can be in found in what country?

India or Bangladesh, either one would be accepted. The only bad number is a four, so roll or pass?

That'll clear column three and put the $10,000 in your prize bank.
X 9 X X 6 X 8 X X
And now there are only three numbers left on the board as we head to the next question. Curcuma, anthurium and eremurus are types of what?

Close, but they're types of flowers. Ian, only three numbers remain on the board and you may roll or pass.

(4,3) It's a seven. (buzzer) No good and Matt is the new champion! (Match win sfx) Well done on the victory, Matt. Well Ian, everyone has to taste defeat at some point. But with all the money you won on our program, you're definitely going away a winner. You didn't win any cash or prizes today; however, we have a new policy this season where losing contestants that don't win anything during the match receive a $500 consolation prize. So that makes your final total for four days a very impressive $123,073 in cash and prizes. Matt, another grand for winning that round takes you up to $6,600 and you'll play the Big Numbers right after this. (Fade to commercial)

(Back to the studio) All right, we're back with our new champion Matt. Matt, you've been here several times already so we will forego the explanation of the rules and load up all nine numbers onto the board.
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
And you still have that insurance marker from the main game, so that could be of some help to you should the need to use it arise. For now, though, I will ask you to pick up the dice and give them a good roll.

Let's get rid of those.

And just like that, we already have a bad number in 3. Roll again.
