(Chyler touches screen) (dings; audience cheers) Supergirl's S. Great for you Billy, another $2500 for Straw for Dogs in Alaska. Chyler, please touch that screen again. (Chyler touches same screen) Thank you. Billy, you may now guess that middle clue or take the second roll of the round .

(Billy rolls)Hmmm -- moneymaking chances might be slim with another 6 and 2. Sixes are gone. But you may take the 2 at the top *or* any 8.

He asks for 8 at the top... (Chyler touches screen) ...and he gets the letter P. Guess the top clue or roll again? We have one more roll in this round. Every non-double roll is still makeable.

All right. Greg's hoping you roll doubles to punctuate this round. (Billy rolls)But it's the old Lawrence Welk bit -- a 1 and a 2... ...or a 3. Clearly you can see your choices are limited.

Going top shelf for... (Chyler touches screen) ...a C and ... (Chyler touches screen) ...an O. Now, Billy, that was the last roll of the round. Would you like to guess the top clue? If you're wrong or want to pass, we proceed with a new name game.

This will be *almost* like starting over. Third round starts with another name game. (FF reveal sfx)Nine-letter famous last name. Here's the clue. He was already on a roll -- when he and Tim Wilson released "Redneck 12 Days of Christmas". (ding) Greg and Billy, please PM me with your answer and a buzz code from 1-100.
Game may run a little slow over the next few days due to Thanksgiving. Thanks for understanding.

53 palmer7 45 Billy Gardell 71 random.org (Greg buzzes in) Greg? Greg: Foxworthy (dings; audience applause)That's it. Jeff Foxworthy. I like his take that if you sit on your rooftop on Christmas Eve to hunt deer -- (scattered laughter from the crowd) -- you might be a redneck. Greg now with $10,000 for his Red Cross charities. Step into the box, please, as Supergirl give you the dice. Greg -- again -- you're on a roll. (Greg rolls)Starting this round with a 3 and a 1... ...or a 4. Ones are gone -- but you take the 3 at the bottom or the 4 at the top.

Completing another word with... (Chyler touches screen) ...an N. Greg, we're now at a point where at least one roll cannot be made. So we're in play or pass mode. Would you like to guess the top clue, take the next roll in this round -- or have Billy roll?

(dings; audience applause) Doug: That's it -- errrr -- uhhh -- is it? Let me get a ruling from the judge, please. Judge: (over loud speaker) Greg's right. Doug: Okay, now that that's clarified, what should we do about that candy cane blocking the O? Judge: (over loud speaker) Chyler, please touch that screen with the cane. (Chyler walks over to candy cane on top row; touches it several times; incidental music from "Supergirl" starts playing) Chyler: Nothing. Sorry. Doug: Great. Another malware scan after the show. (scattered laughter) Melissa: I got an idea. Everyone, stand back! (Doug, Chyler, Greg and Billy each walk several paces back; music builds) (heat beams shoot from Melissa's eyes and land on the candy cane -- which turns into an O; music ends cold) (dings; audience cheers) (Doug, Chyler, Greg and Billy return to their places) (Doug shakes his head; scattered laughter from the crowd) Doug: Mother said there'd be days like this. (audience laughs and applauds)Doug: Greg -- after *all* that -- you may try to solve the puzzle, roll the dice or pass. If you guess and guess wrong, I shudder to think what's next. (scattered laughter from the crowd)

(dings; audience cheers) That's it. And thank goodness the block went away in the process. While we've already thrown a lot of CBS's money around, now's a good time for me to clarify the money that counts is in the Lucky 7 game, of which Greg will play shortly. Just like the daytime show, we're playing two games of Lucky 7 in this superstar Christmas. The player who wins more money in Lucky 7 wins the match, the celebrity championship of On A Roll -- and a bonus of $50,000 for his charity. (audience cheers) Runner-up picks up $25,000 for his charity. Now, Billy, before Melissa escorts you to your seat in the front row, we want to throw another $2500 in your charity's coffers by giving you a chance to solve the last clue. I'll give you some help -- because we had another Supergirl S on the board. Chyler, please touch number 7 on the bottom row. (Chyler touches screen) There it is. Hit it one more time, please. (Chyler touches screen)

WINTER SNOW?
|
|
|
Post by dougmorrisontheair on Nov 26, 2015 9:04:11 GMT -5
(TPiR Pathfinder wrong move sfx)No. We probably wouldn't put "snow" in a clue word when the puzzle's solution includes "snow" within a compound word. Let's see what that last clue was. (FF reveal sfx) Winter *song*. That's what it was. Well, Billy, we'll see you for Game 2 as you look to build on $5000 for your charity. Meantime, Melissa, please walk Billy to contestants' row. We'll see you back here for Game 2, Billy Gardell. (audience cheers) All right, Greg, it's money roll time. Normally on the daytime show, the roll's sum is multiplied by $5000. But all the stakes in Lucky 7 are doubled. So this roll is for $10,000 a point. (audience cheers) This roll determines the maximum amount of money you could win in Lucky 7. And as you know, the bigger the numbers you roll, the better. When you're ready, give 'em a roll. (scattered cheers; Greg claps dice together and rolls) Three and one make for a $40,000 game of Lucky 7. (theme plays) We'll play that it in a moment. But first, a word from Tiffany. (following text superimposed over various shots of the crowd -- which starts to cheer) Tiffany: Do you think you have what it takes to get on a roll? Try out to be a contestant on our daytime show. Just call one of those numbers you see on your screen -- or visit us online -- for more information. We'll be back with more of “The On A Roll Superstar Christmas” after this. (more cheers; graphic remains on screen for a few more seconds; fade to Wally)

(audience cheers...)(...as Wally changes display from OAR Christmas title to Lucky 7 title) (FF reveal sfx)Welcome back to "The On A Roll Superstar Christmas". Greg Palmer has won $12,500, so far, for the American Red Cross and the French Red Cross. You've seen Greg host many games of Lucky 7. Now he gets to play Lucky 7 with help from Wally. Wally, Season's Greetings. (audience laughs and applauds)Wally's lobbying, already, for "The On A Roll/Hawaii Five-0 Christmas". (scattered laughter from the crowd) Perhaps next season. Wally, may we have the numbers for Lucky 7, please. (FF reveal sfx)Thank you. Greg, you're well aware how this works. For those who don't, here's how Greg's going to win more money for the American and French Red Cross. To win the big money, he must eliminate those numbers, 4 through 10 inclusive, by rolling our dice. Anytime the sum of Greg's roll matches one of those numbers, that number disappears and he scores $1000 for his charities. If he repeats one of those sums, no penalty; we'll give him $100 and he's still on a roll. Any roll of 3 or 11 is wild. That gives Greg the power to eliminate one of the remaining numbers *or* take a token for Supergirl's money game, which we play right after Lucky 7. Greg, for solving the puzzle earlier, you already have earned... (ding)...one token. *And* since you solved "Frosty the Snowman" with just one clue fully exposed, that entitles you to a second token. (ding)As you get on a roll, you're allowed to collect a total of four tokens. When you get down to one number on the board, Wally will then give you five tries to match that last number -- and it has to be done naturally. If you succeed in clearing out all seven numbers, look right into that camera and tell everyone know the final grand total you'll win for the American Red Cross and French Red Cross in Lucky 7.
