Since the limit is four shows per host, and I had two more shows on the backburner (and I've already done Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud and Match Game), I decided to let the World Series results decide which show I would do next. Had the Mets won, I would've hosted Card Sharks, but since the Royals won, this means Erin Harris will host Press Your Luck instead. Since I think she did a terrific job hosting Match Game, I'm giving her a chance to really shine on the show that is the Whammy's main claim to fame. As her lines were on Match Game, they will also be italicized here.
We will need three contestants to sign up and take part in the game that will be based off the mid-1980s CBS classic, with some minor adjustments. Hopefully the show can start on Monday.

Now that we have our three players, let's begin the show!
(PYL Intro)
RANDY WEST: Today, these three players are after high stakes, but they'll have to avoid the Whammy as they play the most exciting game of their lives! (PYL Theme) From Television City in Hollywood, it's time to Press Your Luck! And now here's your host, the star of Press Your Luck, Erin Harris!
ERIN HARRIS: Thank you very much, Randy West, and welcome to Press Your Luck! I'm Erin Harris, and we're pleased to bring this show back after 30 years off the air! We have our three players here, mringgenberg, Billy Gardell and koopakid17, ready to play our game. You know how we do this: In order to earn spins on the big board, you will have to answer some multiple-choice questions. The player who buzzes in with the correct answer gets three spins, and the other two who pick it from a choice of three get one spin each. I will ask you four questions, and the first player to buzz in will then have 24 hours to give me their response. So are you ready to play? Here we go with our first question:
"On the classic sitcom Seinfeld, who played George Costanza?"
(no buzzcodes, please; we just need the first player to buzz in)

ERIN: The correct answer is Jason Alexander, so koopakid17 gets three spins...
ding!
...and mringgenberg and Billy Gardell get one spin each.
ding!
ding!
Now here comes the second question:
"During the regular season, how many men are on an NFL team's roster?"

ERIN: Of course it is 53 men on an NFL roster. So Billy Gardell gets three more spins...
ding!
...and mringgenberg and koopakid17 get one spin each.
ding!
ding!
Billy Gardell and koopakid17 now have four spins each, and mringgenberg two. The next question is:
"As of 2015, what is the smallest passenger car in the current Chevy lineup?"

Cruze.

ERIN: Well, believe it or not, the smallest Chevy model is...the Spark! So nobody picks up any spins here, but you get one more chance to do so on this last question:
"Actor Will Smith originally started out as a rap artist who performed under what stage name?"

Post by Bill Skinner on Nov 22, 2015 15:32:09 GMT -5
ERIN: The correct answer is, in fact, the Fresh Prince! So Billy Gardell picks up three more spins...
ding!
...and mringgenberg and koopakid17 get one more spin each.
ding!
ding!
(PYL Theme)
Billy Gardell has seven spins total, koopakid17 five and mringgenberg three. And they'll put their spins to use on the big board, where lots of cash and prizes can be won. Stay tuned, we'll be back after this.

ERIN: Welcome back to Press Your Luck, where our three players get to go after some big money along with some prizes. But remember, the evil Whammy is out to take away your earnings; if you land on him, that's exactly what he'll do. Four Whammies will put you out of the game for good, and the player with the most earnings wins the game. We'll start with mringgenberg, who has the fewest spins with three. (Big Board Spin Cue) After each spin, you can decide to keep spinning or pass your remaining spins. You will give me a number between 1 and 54 for each spin; this includes passed spins as well. Are you ready, mringgenberg? Let's play!
TOP ROW: A--$1100/$1600/$1400 B--$100/Whammy/$1150 C--$500+SPIN/$1000+SPIN/$2500+SPIN D--Whammy/$775/$1750 E--Guitar/$450/Whammy F--$1500/Record Player/$1900
RIGHT COLUMN: G--$950/$200/Whammy H--Bicycle/$1200/$1300 I--$675/Whammy/$2000
