I am going to take a stab at trying out a JBoy original pricing game for a future TPIR game I am planning to include this game in.
Rules of this game in development, called Clear the Way, goes like this:
Game starts off with a row of eight numbers, and is played for a car.
[1][6][9][8][2][3][0][4]
First digit is given free of charge, which, in this example, would obviously be a 1.
[1][X][X][X][X]
In the row of remaining seven numbers, the remaining four digits in the price of the car appear in the right order, but not necessarily side by side.
[X][6][9][8][2][3][0][4]
The contestant's job is to clear away three of the digits that do not belong in the price of the car, leaving what the contestant believes is the right price for the car.
The contestant would be given three chances.
I would like to see how many winners or losers this game will generate.
Anyone wish to participate in this experiment?

Hmmm. It looks like a bigger game of Squeeze Play.
I'll go.

Billy, you will be the first contestant to try this experiment out.
Here is the car that will be used in this test:
2016 Ford Focus SE Sedan.
Here are the numbers in play:
[1][9][8][3][1][4][5][2]
Billy, please choose 3 numbers that you believe do not belong in the price of the car, leaving what you believe is the price of the car.

George: It's a new Ford Focus! This 2015 Ford Focus SE sedan comes with engine block heater, exterior protection package, fog lamps, keyless-entry keypad, perimeter alarm, power moonroof, rear spoiler, reverse sensing system, Sony Producers-of-a-rival-show-which-we-can't-say-on-CBS package, ambient lighting, cargo maintenance package, heated seats, stainless steel-door sill plates, and a 1-year subscription to SiriusXM Satellite Radio! And I have PMed him its price.

An aside: From a purely luck standpoint, there are 35 ways to eliminate 3 of the 7 numbers, so with 3 guesses, the contestant has a 3 out of 35 chance (8.5%) of winning the car. Seems like there should be some way to lead the contestant in the right direction, perhaps by telling the contestant how many they have right.

Sorry, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I have to throw the prize out.
Plus, this experiment is on hold until further notice.
