All right. Kourtney wants you to roll a double. (Matt rolls)But you don't. So far it's as if you're repeating you're performance from the last Lucky 7 of the last show. A 6 and a 4 or a 10.

Next door to the N you uncovered just moments ago, we have... (Jennifer touches screen)...a D. Now we have two rolls left in this round. Would you like to guess the top clue or keep on rollin'?

Keep Rolling

(Matt rolls)And another non-double roll. Before we move foward, this is worth pointing out. Matt, you rolled eleven times in the last Lucky 7 without a double and this, obviously, is the seventh time you rolled in this game without a double. You're -- not using any trick rolling techniques are you? (scattered laughter from the crowd) Only kidding. It is remarkable and really lucky. Now, a 2 and a 5 or a 7.

(Jennifer touches screen)There's a W and ... (Jennifer touches screen)...and an H. Matt, the fives are all gone -- but all non-double rolls are still makeable. So you may guess the middle clue, guess the bottom clue or take the last roll of the round.

Guess the top clue.
SHE WAS SANDY

Post by dougmorrisontheair on Oct 27, 2015 21:24:18 GMT -5
(buzz) Ohhh -- Matt -- you can't do that since you didn't reveal a letter on that row with that roll of 2 and 5. Remember, I said you could guess the *middle* clue or guess the *bottom* clue -- since you revealed letters from those particular rows on your most recent roll -- or take the last roll of the round. SHE WAS SANDY happens to be correct for the top row. So, here's what's going to happen. (FF reveal sfx) Kourtney, for the first time in this game, we get to hear from you. You may guess the overall puzzle or take the last roll of the round. If you're wrong, you still get to roll. But if you're right, you win the game.

For the game -- and I say this at the risk of showing my age -- is it Olivia Neutron-Bomb? (scattered laughter from the crowd) (dings; SCSD win theme plays; audience cheers) It is. Wow. A tactical error by Matt leads to, the best of my recollection, the only time a player has won a game without said winner touching the dice. Kourtney, you'll get a chance to roll the dice in a moment for the money roll. First, let's see the rest of the clues. (FF reveal sfx) She was Sandy in the movie musical "Grease", which also starred John Travolta. "Two of a Kind" was that *other* movie with John and Olivia. Didn't have even half the success of "Grease". And get physical -- a reference to her blockbuster album and title track "Physical" from 1981. That's the game. Matt, Dr. Forrester will see you later for Game 2. Right now, she's going to walk you over to a comfy chair down there in the front row. You'll be back for Game 2, Matt Ringgenberg. (audience cheers) Kourtney, it's money roll time. This is the time you *may* roll doubles -- and the sum of the roll will be multiplied by $5000 to determine the maximum amount of money at stake in Lucky 7. The higher the numbers the better. Throw boxcars and you're playing for $60,000. (audience cheers) So, when you're ready, give 'em a roll. (Kourtney rolls) (audience cheers) All right -- a 4 and a 2 for a total of 6 or $30,000. Wally joins us for that $30,000 game of Lucky 7 right after this. (theme plays; audience cheers) (theme plays)

Welcome back to On A Roll. Kourtney Wilson won the game under the most unusual circumstances. Matt kept winning name games and avoiding doubles. Then he guessed a clue he wasn't allowed to guess -- and that opened a door for Kourtney over here to win that first game. As Matt looks to make a comeback in the second half of our show, Kourtney, take a look at that big door -- because here comes Wally! (theme plays; audience applauds) Hello, Wally. What do you have to say to Kourtney here at midweek? (audience laughs and applauds) Ha ha. Well played. Kourtney, if Lady Luck is on your side, you'll have no problem winning big. Wally, may we have the numbers for the Lucky 7 game, please? (FF reveal sfx)Thank you. Now, Kourtney, here's how we play Lucky 7. To win top dollar, you must eliminate those numbers, 4 through 10 inclusive, by rolling our dice. Anytime the sum of your roll matches one of those numbers, that number disappears and you score $500. If you repeat one of those sums, no penalty; we'll give you $50 and you're still on a roll. Any roll of 3 or 11 is wild. That gives you the power to eliminate one of the remaining numbers *or* take a token for the car game. For solving the puzzle earlier, you already have earned... (ding)...one token. You also solved that puzzle with just *one* clue fully exposed -- so that entitles you to a second car token. (ding)As you get on a roll, you're allowed to collect a total of four tokens. When you get down to one number on the board, Wally will then give you five tries to match that last number -- and it has to be done naturally. If you can eliminate all seven numbers, your winnings will be augmented to -- how much?

(audience cheers)For simplicity, I prefer 30,000 George Washingtons. (scattered laughter from the crowd) No matter how you convert the money, it's $30,000. One more thing, just like the main game, you want to avoid rolling doubles. Any double means one strike and you can't eliminate a number. Three strikes and the game ends -- but you keep what you've won. And every dollar is important -- because the player who scores more money in Lucky 7 returns to our next show. (Ashley hands Kourtney the dice) Thanks, Ashley. Now if Matt can go umpteen straight rolls without a double, who's to say you can't? Kourtney -- you're on a roll. (scattered cheers) (Kourtney rolls)That's certainly not a double. Dice total 8. (ding)The 8 goes bye-bye and you instantly have $500. Ashley returns your dice to you. Roll again, please. (scattered cheers) (Kourtney rolls)And another 8. No worries. (ding) $50 more. Roll again, please. (Kourtney rolls) (buzz) (audience groans) Okay, a little bit of worry. Boxcars give you the first strike. All right. Shake it off, Kourtney. Keep on rollin'. (Kourtney rolls)Name of our bonus game. Lucky 7. (ding)Score's equal to a Cleveland and a Grant now. Roll for more. (Kourtney rolls) (cha-ching) (audience cheers) Three! One of the wild rolls. Kourtney, you have a decision to make. You may call that 3 any of the five remaining numbers you've yet to clear out -- or you may take a third token for the car game. How do you play it? (audience shouts suggestions) Remember, the money from Lucky 7 counts towards the championship. Anything you win from the car game doesn't count toward the score of the match.

Doesn't want the token. Wants the score money instead. (ding) (scattered laughter) Annnd -- of course you'd say that with our guest models helping us today. Ashley's returned the dice to you, Kourtney. You're still on a roll. (audience cheers) (Kourtney rolls) (buzz) Uh oh. Two twos mean strike two. (scattered laughter from the crowd) Yeah -- terrible twos for sure, Wally. Kourtney, one more double and it's game over. (audience cheers Kourtney on) Make this a good one. (Kourtney rolls)(more cheers) Hey now -- the 4 that counts. (ding) $2050. Keep avoiding doubles and you score more money. Roll 'em again, Kourtney. (Kourtney rolls)Sweet! Got a 9. (ding) You need a 5 and a 6 to boost your score up to $30,000. Wild roll can help you. Roll 'em, Kourtney. (Kourtney rolls)The old 1-3 bit again. (ding) Good for $50 more. Up to $2600. Ashley gives you back the dice. Let's get a 5, 6 or wild roll. (Kourtney rolls)A five! (ding) Which means... (Kourtney rolls)(alarm goes off)...the graphics department worked overtime for that one, didn't they? (scattered laughter from the crowd) (ding) That also means Wally's shutdown timer is now active. Kourtney, you'll have as many as five tries to roll a 6 naturally. If you get a wild roll, you may take it for $50 or a car token -- but you can't clear the 6 with a wild roll. Also beware you have two strikes against you. If you get a double, it's game over -- even if you still have rolls left on the timer. (audience cheers) Go get that 6, Kourtney. (Kourtney rolls)(scattered woahs and groans) *So* close -- a 5. (ding) Another $50 in your coffers. Four more tries to roll that 6 naturally. (Kourtney rolls)(scattered groans) The roll *includes* a 6 -- but doesn't count. (ding) Well, okay, it counts for $50. But you came here for $30,000. Go get that big money, Kourtney. (Kourtney rolls)YOU GOT IT!!!!!! (dings; win theme plays; audience cheers) $30,000, Kourtney. How do you feel?

Well -- it might be a good thing we have Dr. Forrester here. (scattered laughter) Paramedics' digits are in your phone, right? Ashley: Yes -- but my phone's in my dressing room. (more scattered laughter) Ohhh -- well -- no matter what, get ready for a bigger thrill, Kourtney -- with this. Tiffany: Kourtney, Doug said you could win big money and something else. You've already got that big money. Here's that something else -- (game board moves stage left to reveal Jennifer standing next to prize) -- A NEW CAR! (car theme plays; audience cheers) [ Tiffany: The Mercedes-Benz CLS550 Coupe is a luxurious ride. It comes with the Premium 1 Package plus high performance tires, leather/wood steering wheel and much more. This fantastic car is worth $79,735. Good luck, Kourtney. Win this car and you'll instantly have cash and merchandise worth more than $100,000. (more cheers and woos) So, Wally, may we have the numbers for the car game. (FF reveal sfx)Now, Wally's randomly hidden the word "car" in one of those numbered screens. With the two tokens you earned from Game 1, you may select up to two numbers. Pick the number that hides the magic word "car" -- and you get that Mercedes. All at once -- please pick your numbers.

(remixed 007 theme plays) Tiffany: This week, at least one of our contestants could win a James Bond weekend in Palm Beach, Florida. (audience cheers) A lucky player and a guest will fly round trip coach to Palm Beach, Florida for an unforgettable weekend stay at the Brazilian Court Hotel. Tiffany: Live it up 007-style as the hotel provides a private yacht cruise, a seven-course dining experience, a helicopter tour of Palm Beach and much more. This package includes two nights' accommodations in the lavish Hepburn Suite -- as well as two "Bond 50" Blu-Ray collector's sets, a private screening of the latest movie "Spectre" -- and a cash bonus of $7007. This vacation package is worth $30,307. (audience cheers) Now back to Doug Morris and Game 2 of On A Roll. (more cheers)Thanks, Tiffany. Yeah, something new this season. If you win a car and then win *another* game, you get to play for that trip. Keep winning and you'll play for tons of money. We'll talk more about that later. First, let's get set for Game 2. Kourtney has the high score of the day with $30,000. Matt, this means you must win solve this next puzzle, have the dice total more than 5 on the money roll and then win your Lucky 7 game. Our guest models have traded places. Jennifer Gareis from "The Bold and the Beautiful" joins us here at the table. Ashley Jones, also from B&B as we say 'round these parts, is at the puzzle board. Before we get to the puzzle, we need to get to another name game. (FF reveal sfx)First name game in our second half of the match is an eight-letter famous last name. Here's your clue. She got on a roll -- when she landed a role of a "Baywatch" babe. (ding)
Matt and Kourtney, please PM me with a buzz code from 1-100 as well as your roll.

(Matt buzzes in) Uhhhhh -- hold on -- I think we're going to have to throw this out. (judge nods head) Yeah, we have to throw this out. I also think our computer needs a virus or malware scan after the show. (scattered laughter from the crowd) Where you see a D there, there should be an E. And the right answer is Anderson -- as in Pamela Anderson. Sorry about that, guys, we'll have to play a new name game. (FF reveal sfx)And this one's eight letters long as well. New clue for the new name. Sisters Serena and Venus are on a roll -- in the world of tennis. This is their shared last name. (ding) Matt and Kourtney, sorry for the inconvenience. Please PM me a new buzz code as well as your answer to this name game.
