(audience cheers)Jess: Come on John. Go get that -- Crag! Crag! Crag! Crag! Crag! (audience cheers and starts to chant, "Crag! Crag! Crag! Crag! Crag!") Jess knows this show. John, you should know a Crag makes you a millionaire. When you're ready -- roll 'em. (audience still chants, "Crag! Crag! Crag! Crag! Crag! Crag! Crag! Crag! Crag! Crag! Crag! Crag! Crag! Crag! Crag! Crag! Crag!") (John shakes up bucket; pours dice down ramp) (mix of cheers and groans from the crowd) No Crag -- but $1700 to start you out. $6700 in the pot. Care to stop and keep the money -- or risk it all on your second roll? (audience cheers)

Going for it. A non-Crag 13 and a 7-pointer will get you the million. Jess hands you the cup again. Good luck and roll 'em. (John shakes up bucket; pours dice down ramp) (audience groans; wonk wonk wonk wonk)Uhhhh -- that won't get you the million, however. (Jess immediately picks up the gremlin cube and throws it stage left) (audience laughs and applauds)You get the feeling she's seen this show before? (more laughter from the crowd) John, sorry you lost out here. But you've got $18,000. (audience cheers) And you're still the champ. Win three more matches and you get a car and a gas card with at least $175,000. We've got time for an audience game. We'll play it -- after this. (WGYN theme plays; audience applauds)

A few announcements.
\ Due to holiday plans (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc., will be here before we all know it), the next regular episode of Crag: The Numbers Game won't start until after we ring in 2016.
\ There's a *chance* we'll have a Celebrity Crag episode in the interim -- but that's iffy right now.
\ We'll still proceed with an audience game to punctuate this episode. And we'll start it with a qualifying question. This is open to those who did not play the main games in this episode. Closest to the right answer, high or low, gets to play.
On October 13, 2011, at 1:00pm Central, we watched a GSN rerun of "Catch 21". After two complete rounds, the three players combined to score how many points? Please respond higher than 1000 points and in increments of 100 points.
Please PM me your answer in 24 hours from now.

How does it work?

All right, let's see the right answer. (ding)Player 3 lapped the field winning both rounds at 500 points each and correctly answering eight jump-in questions for 1800 points. Players 1 and 2 finished the second round with 300 and 200, respectively. Who's the closest? 1500 whammyZack's playing. Here we go.
And welcome back to Crag: The Numbers Game. We're going to give a lucky member of our studio audience a chance to win a nice vacation. A nice hand for Zack Corsetti. (audience cheers)Zack, please tell us about yourself.

I'm 16, like music, I enjoy video games, and watched game shows ever since I was a youngster.

Delighted to have you with us. We'll tell you about this game we call Half and Half -- after we tell you about the prize you're playing for. (clip rolls) (prize music plays) Doug: (in pre-recorded audio) It's a vacation in Nantucket, the beautiful island of Massachusetts. (audience cheers) You're playing for a trip to Nantucket. Plus $3000 in a bucket. Your stay is six nights. Enjoy all the sites. And if you don't like -- uh -- just -- give it all to Bev Luckett. (audience laughs and applauds) Total value of this bonus prize package for you and a guest -- $11,850. Ohh -- that is a fun trip. And here's how you win it. We call this game Half and Half because we've split the word "trip" in halves. Zack, behind one of the odd numbers -- 1, 3 or 5 -- there's the first half of the word "trip". Behind one of the even numbers -- 2, 4 or 6 -- is the second half of the word "trip". With just one dice cube, we're going to give you... (ding)...five chances to roll the two numbers that hide both halves of the word "trip". If you can succeed in uncovering both halves, you win that trip to Nantucket. Ready to give it a roll? (Zack, please respond with some sort of affirmative answer and then a roll code from 1-100. You'll see the result of that roll and, at most, the next four rolls down the list of cube rolls from randomizer.org.)

[Zack, this is Doug's game, and he is the one in charge of rolling the dice. Don't try doing his job for him. Any more shenanigans like that and Doug or I will not hesitate to act.]

(Zack rolls down ramp) And he starts with a 5. Does that hide "tr"? (ding; audience applause)Yes! All right. Zack, all you have to do is roll the even number that hides "ip" and you're off to Nantucket. Four chances to get it done. Good luck. (Zack rolls down ramp) He rolls a 6. Is he off to Nantucket with just two rolls? (buzz)No. But you've got three tries to roll the even number that completes the word "trip". Roll it again. (Zack rolls down ramp) (buzz)And -- a 1. We know it's not there. Remember, the last half of "trip" is behind one of those even numbers. Come on, Zack, roll that even number that completes the magic word. (Zack rolls down ramp) (buzz)Oooooh -- another 1. Another wasted roll. Well, it's down to this. If you roll the even number that finishes the magic word "trip", you win the trip. If not, well -- ya fought the good fight. Come on, Zack! (Zack rolls down ramp) (buzzer; audience groans; BB87 loss cue) Arrgh! The 3. He started great -- but he runs into bad luck in the end. Where was the last half of "trip"? Number 4. Well, Zack, in this game, we turn the negatives into positives. Each "no" that turned over is worth $250. So you do pick up $750. Thanks for playing. John's back to play with us on Crag -- and I hope you'll play along when we gather around to play this number game. For all of us on the Crag staff, this is Doug Morris saying -- make it a great day, keep the faith and treasure your loved ones. (WGYN closing theme plays; audience applause)
