As some of you may know, the last 2-3 years have been a pretty interesting change for me. I have gone from unemployed, to working a 25-30 hour week. I have been in and out of depression, done various bits and pieces of study, and have been the music organiser of my church. So, the last few years have been pretty crazy for me, and they will probably be getting even crazier in the next little while. From 2016 onwards, I will be studying a Bachelor of Music, majoring in Audio Engineering at the Australian Institute of Music in Sydney. This course is really big, it is only 2 years long, but it has so much stuff involved in it, that I have to pretty well devote my entire life to it. That being said, there is only one option becoming of this.
Effective Christmas 2015, I will be stepping down as co-admin of Net Game Central.
This hasn't been an easy decision, but it also has not been one that has been instantaneous. My passion for gameshows and netgames is clearly not what it once was, as demonstrated by my frequent delays on shows like Family Feud and Don't Forget the Lyrics, and for that I sincerely apologise. My work has been crazy, and I have had family issues that have been my biggest priority this year.
Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed this forum so much. I just think it is time to move on.
I'd like to thank quite a few people, firstly my former partner in crime, Leaf Apollo, who created all these awesome graphics you see around the site. I'm not sure if he'll see this, but he was a great supporter of this site, going from the old spam-infested Big Jon's Forums, to something fresh and new. Thanks also must be made to Tony Lane, who has been an awesome moderator at Big Jon's, and is and will continue to be a great co-admin of the site. Thanks also to John Bergman for being a great moderator, and a great friend.
There have been good times, and bad times, like dealing with cheaters and idiot trolls, and I have enjoyed every single moment of it, and I'd like to thank all of you for being so supportive. My greatest wish is that this forum doesn't just collapse, and I hope that in the future, this forum will be a great haven for fans and players of gameshows.
Please note, I will not be leaving the forums until December, I will still be co-admin until then, and then after that, I may pop in from time to time. However, this course means that I will probably not be able to participate in and host games any more.
Also, you may have noticed that I use the phrase "co-admin" a bit in this post. Well, we are going to accept applications for co-admin. Anyone is welcome to apply, please PM your applications to me. A background in moderating is desired but not essential. You must be unbiased in your decisions, so if you have friends here, you must be willing to be able to put a strike against their name if you see them doing something wrong. You must be a frequent participant on the forum, with at least 4-5 posts per week, and finally, you must be someone that Tony and I feel will be able to handle the responsibilities of the job.
With that all done and said, it has been an absolute pleasure being the co-admin, and in the words of Australian game-show king, Larry Emdur, it's GAME OVER
