Yet to be a netgame as of yet, but now to be one, a format quite close to home for myself. Connections ran for 5 years on ITV, originally alternating with Blockbusters and was recorded in Manchester my home city, so local pride!
With minor amendments from the original format, this is how it's set to run.
Round 1: Connect The Clues
The two contestants will be asked a general knowledge question on the buzzer, with $100 for a correct answer. After each correctly answered question, a picture clue will appear on the 3x3 board, with all clues linked by a connection of some sorts. Finding the connection earns a bonus beginning at $1000, with $100 deducted for each clue following the first 2 clues
Round 2: Find The Figure
Same as Round 1 in that questions are on the buzzers, and a number or mathematical operation will appear on the buzzer, with a sum eventually appearing on the board after 8 questions, with $500 for the contestant that buzzes in with the correct answer.
Round 3
The same as Round 1, but with money doubled to $200 per correct answer, and the bonus beginning at $2000.
The contestant with the most money at the end of the 3 rounds becomes champion and plays
Link The Letters
8 questions will be asked of the champion, with each correct answer revealing 1 of 8 letters, which must be scrambled/decoded to find an 8 letter word for a bonus prize, which increases with each attempt, up to a new car and cash for completing Link The Letters after a 5th victory.
5-game limit would be in force in an actual series, so I need 3 folks to give this a whack, any takers?

OK, I'm Greg Palmer, I'm a college student from Durham, NC. I enjoy game shows, I wish I had Buzzr, and I spend way too much time on Facebook!

(Being fixed now due to browser trouble)
Don't we all Greg? Now we'll be playing 3 Rounds in this match, and Round 1 will always be Connect the Clues. I'll ask a general knowledge question on the buzzer for $100, get it right and you'll have guessing rights once we have at least 2 clues on the board. The bonus will begin at $1,000 for this round, and here we go.
Charles Lutwidge Dodgson was the birth name of which 19th century author?
(PMing of Buzzcodes between 1 and 100 please, and if you can send as many as 25 then better still)

All names of characters in Shakespeare plays?

Judges?..
[Multiple Dings]
They're taking it! We had it as titular or main characters in Shakespeare plays, but your answer is enough. We would have seen more obvious character names as we went on, and it should be noted that Antonio is the name of the Merchant of Venice.
Well done Greg, the full $1000, and you lead $1100 to Matt's $100.
Early days yet Matt so plenty of time to catch up in Round 2, in 2 and 2.

{Fade In}
Welcome back to Connections, Greg leads Matt by $1100 to $100, but plenty of cash available as you aim to Find the Figure.
In this round I'll be asking questions on the buzzer as before, but this time every correct answer unveils a number or mathematical operation on one of the outer places on the board to compose a sum. Once all 8 spaces are filled, it's a $500 bonus for whoever finds the correct answer to the sum.
First question once again for $100:
Which Central American nation is the only one not to have a standing army, it being forbidden by its Constitution?

Correct, and the first part of the sum will appear on the board, either a number or operation. Fingers on buzzers: At what age would a Jewish girl have her bat mitzvah?
