Hello, everybody. This is Sergio Roman. I've already told you that I'm making my own version of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire". And I need to remind you that we're celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Premiere Episode of the Primetime Version back in 1999. I figured it might be nice to celebrate with a few games of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" with celebrities right here.
Money Tree:
We know how it works: 15 questions, 4 lifelines and ONE MILLION DOLLARS! But in my version, the money tree which we all know and love will be changed. Questions 1 to 11, will have different values ($500, $1,000, $1,500, $2,000, $2,500, $5,000, $7,500, $10,000, $25,000, $50,000 and $75,000); but Questions 12 to 15, are still the same ($125,000, $250,000, $500,000 and $1,000,000). And here it is:
Format:
For the first time in the American version's history, you will get to choose between Classic and Risk Format:
Lifelines:
What do you think? Do you've got what it takes to answer 15 questions in a row correctly and claim the maximum cash prize of $1,000,000 for your charity? This will be launched in Late May or Early June!

Format:
For the first time in the American version's history, you will get to choose between Classic and Risk Format:
- In the Classic Format, you still have 2 fixed thresholds in which by reaching these spots, you're guaranteed to walk away with at least that minimum. These are: Question 5 for $2,500 and Question 10 for $50,000.
- In the Risk Format, the first threshold remains at $2,500. But you can set the second threshold on anywhere from $5,000 all the way up to $500,000. Before the question, I have to ask you if they want to set your second threshold right there (The UK Version did that in Series 31, coinciding with their 20th Anniversary Celebration).
Lifelines:
- “50:50”: Removes two incorrect answers leaving you with two options to choose between.
- "Phone a Friend": Gives a chance to call your friend to answer your question in 30 seconds (3 posts in-thread to help you figure out the answer, and ONLY available members online)
- “Ask the Audience”: Allows you to ask the live studio audience on what they think the correct answer is (I will use the forum poll)
- “Switch the Question”: Replaces the current question with another of the same monetary value. However, earning it will depend on how you play. If you choose the Classic Format, you'll receive it after answering Question 10 correctly. But if you choose the Risk Format, you'll earn it automatically from the beginning.
What do you think? Do you've got what it takes to answer 15 questions in a row correctly and claim the maximum cash prize of $1,000,000 for your charity? This will be launched in Late May or Early June!
