Sadly, between the tie they had in 2002, the fact that it starts so late, the fact that I wake at 4am to start work at 6am, and the fact that interleague play is going on all the time, plus rampant free-agency, Major League Baseball's All-Star Game no longer holds for me the magic and allure that it once did during the 1970s through the early 1990s.
For those of you who do watch it, I hope it will be a very fun and enjoyable viewing experience.

For those of you who do watch it, I hope it will be a very fun and enjoyable viewing experience. Everything was fine except that the Cardinals selections got booed. The American League won again and Mike Trout won the MVP for the second year in a row.
