All right, time to debut Wheel 2000. For those who don't know, gameplay will mostly be the same as it was when the show was on the air during the 1997-98 television season on the CBS Saturday morning lineup; however, since it is kind of impossible to do physical stunts on a forum, we will not be conducting those here. Everything else will remain the same. With that in mind, I will require three players for this game. If you'd like to play, sign up here.

All right, off we go. All deadlines are 48 hours. (cue Wheel 2000 opening sequence) Cyber Lucy: Hey everyone, it's time to play.................. Audience: Wheel! 2000! Cyber Lucy: And here's the dude with all the wheel spinning action, my main squeeze, Mark Liotta! (I come on stage to a loud series of cheers from the audience) Me: Thank you very much. Lucy, how are ya today? Cyber Lucy: I'm just fine. Yourself? Me: I am doing quite well, thank you. We're going to have a great time on the show today. Before we can start the action, though, we need to find out about today's contestants. Lucy, who do we have with us today? Cyber Lucy: Well, first up in the red position, we have mister Kevin Kolsen! In the yellow position, we have the one and only Matt Riggenberg! And finally, in the blue spot is gameboy2000! Hi guys! Players: Hi Lucy. Cyber Lucy: You guys ready to play? Players: Yeah! Me: All right, looks like everyone's ready to go so let's get to it. First, a bit of an explanation as to how we play. It's very easy. You spin the wheel, then you pick a letter. If the letter's in the puzzle, you get the points. Solve the puzzle and you get to keep those points. Speaking of points, we have 1,000 as the top point spot on the wheel to start us off. Now, here's some other good stuff we have out there. Out on the wheel, we have a little something called Mark's prize box. Land on that and guess a correct letter, you get the points and you also get the prize that's in the prize box. We also have Double Up. If you hit that, then I will ask you a question that's related to the category of the puzzle being played. Answer it correctly and your letter choice is worth 1,000 points. Answer it incorrectly, however, and the choice of letter is worth 500 points. We also have a couple of spaces you want to avoid. There's a blue space on the wheel marked Loser. Hit that space, you get the big L and we have to skip you. And finally, there's the big bad creature. (Creature comes up from the wheel briefly before disappearing) Cyber Lucy: I don't like that creature. Me: I don't think anyone does. Land on his space and he'll eat all of your points, so be careful. Finally, whoever has the most points when we're done with all the puzzles gets to play the bonus round. Now Kevin, you won the coin toss backstage, so you get to select the category for round one. You have three categories to choose from. Lucy, tell him what they are please. Cyber Lucy: Gladly. All right Kevin, here's what we have for you. We have Globetrotter, Book Soup and Bright Ideas. Me: Which one of those looks good to you, Kevin?

Cyber Lucy: That's it! (solve cue)
S A N T O D O M I N G O
Me: Well done there, Kevin. Oh Lucy, tell our friend Kevin here a little bit about Santo Domingo if you please. Cyber Lucy: I'll be happy to. Santo Domingo is the capital city of the Dominican Republic as well as its' largest city. It was founded in 1496, is the oldest continuously inhabited European settlement in the Americas and was the first seat of Spanish colonial rule in the new world. Me: Awesome stuff there, Lucy. At the end of the first round, Kevin has 1,000 points; Matt has nothing and gameboy has nothing. Round two after this. (Fade to commercial)

(Back to the studio) Welcome back to Wheel 2000. For those just joining us, here's where we stand in terms of scores.
Kevin: 1,000 points Matt: 0 points gameboy: 0 points
Matt, you're going to begin round two for us in a moment. Before you do, though, there's a couple of things we need to point out. First up, top value on the wheel is now 2,000 points! (Camera zooms in on the 2,000 point spot) The other thing that needs to be taken care of is your category selection for the round two puzzle. We have two unused categories and one brand new one. Lucy, give him his category choices please. Cyber Lucy: Well Matt, here are your options. The new category we have is my personal favorite, Word Rap! And the two returning categories from the last round are Book Soup and Bright Ideas Me: Which one of those do you want to go with, Matt?
