Friends

Hey.


So, I'm pretty sure a number of people here are autistic/Aspies. I know you guys don't spend all day here (as much as you'd like to). So, what I'd like to know is, how do you do it? How do you make friends in the outside, real world? I really would like to know.

At work. I even occasionally are still in touch with my High School friends via social media or e-mail.

I try to make friends at the first opportunity I get.

With my son it was bowling.  He joined a bowling league 5 years ago, and now bowls for his high school team too.

Joining a bowling league is easy to do, and doesn't require one to be a "jock" either.

Another suggestion is to see if there are groups at your local church that you might find interesting.
