So it's Nels with the slight lead of a buck shy of three hundred dollars, but he does manage to avoid those Whammies through the first round. Kevin did land on one early, but got through the rest of his earned and passed spins without encountering another one.

Yeah, Nels picked up two hundred fifty bucks worth of breathing room with that spin, but as he said, this second round is crucial and in the grand scheme of things, it's really anyone's game because of the amount of big bucks we'll have coming up on that board.
To start with, let's hand out the starting spin amounts for this second round!

Take note though that I said the more letter you ASK for and not necessarily how many are uncovered. Hopefully, you catch my drift there.

Good choice there Nels, it looks like you did catch my drift!
43 Across already has two letters revealed from the choices made from the first round, so even with those letters uncovered, you still get credit for 4 spins if you can solve the word without asking for any other letters to be revealed. As before though, you can pass it right away if you are stumped by it or ask for another letter and try to solve it for 3 spins in that case.
The clue for 43 Across is: Bart Simpson's Mom. Nels, can you solve it for 4 spins?
