(ding)I, D, and Y -- and suddenly a *lot* of unlucky rolls. Kyle, let's focus on the rolls that *work*. The playable rolls are 5, 7, 8, 9 and 12. Guess for 1500, roll again, or pass the dice?

Okay, Steve. Dice are yours with a wide danger zone. (audience cheers as...) (Steve rolls) (buzz) (audience groans)A 6. Not going to work. Sorry about that. Kyle, the pass worked. So that means the highest remaining number of 9 gives you... (ding)...the letter O. Kyle, only rolls that work are 5, 7, 8, and 12. Guess, roll, or pass again?

Pass worked last time. Steve, let's see what happens. (audience cheers as...) (Steve rolls) (audience cheers)It's an eight! Wow. Kyle, good strategy -- but it didn't work this time. Steve, only way to play is the 8. (ding)There's an N Steve, only playable rolls are 5, 7 and 12. I caution that if you roll or pass and the nominated player rolls boxcars, that player automatically banks $1100 -- because, by then, all the letters in the puzzle will have been revealed. With that, Steve, guess for $1300, roll, or pass back to Kyle?

(ASB win cue plays; audience applause) Indeed -- fun show and another right solution. (tacky buzzer)That sound means the game's over. Steve, you won another game as we update the final tally. $5450. (ASB win cue plays; audience applause) Steve, we add this cash to your prior winnings -- and you'll be heading into another main event with... ...$122,464 in cash and merchandise. (audience cheers)And with lucky throws of the dice, that total could end up in the neighborhood of about half a million. Kyle, as for you, it's back to the studies in the sunny beaches of Mobile. But we do so with extra money. The rules here on Lucky Numbers say a runner-up is assured of leaving our dice table with at least $2500. So we throw $1200 more in your coffers. $2500 cash plus the fine prizes we talked about earlier. Kyle, please tell the folks in Mobile we said hello. A nice hand for Kyle Simmons. (audience cheers)Steve's heading for the main event -- after this. (commercial cue plays; audience applauds)

(ASB cue plays; audience applauds) Welcome back to Lucky Numbers. Steve Anderson's back at a familiar place -- The Prudential At The... er uh.. (scattered laughter from crowd) -- main event. Steve, again, you've racked up... ...$122,464 in cash and merchandise. (audience cheers)And if you can collect all those medals up there, you could boost that total to about half a million. Think you can do it?

That's the spirit as you attempt to really bring it all home. (scattered laughter from crew) Kind of an inside joke. Regardless, Steve, these are the medals you're trying to collect. We've split 'em in half. We now cover them... (chime sfx)...with these lucky numbers. You must roll the *combinations* seen up there to snatch the respective half medals. (prize music)When you do put together both halves of a particular medal, you may trade it in for a prize or a chance to play for more cash. Here's Bill Kennedy with the details on what you could investing in. (scattered laughter from crew) Bill: Are you trying to tell us something, Doug? In any event, Steve, first, for the bronze medal, it's a Harley-Davidson Iron 883 motorcycle -- valued at $12,125. (audience cheers)Next for the silver medal, it's our special game, Happy Halloween. Where, in this episode only, you'll have a chance to scare up to $75,000 cash. (audience cheers)Finally for the gold medal -- not one -- but TWO NEW JEEPS! (audience cheers) Take charge in luxury with these Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicons -- valued at $115,648.So far, the potential value of the main event is $202,773. (audience cheers)Thanks, Bill. Steve, as you know, collect all three medals, you'll win the Jeeps, the motorcycle, the chance to play Happy Halloween, *and* that cash jackpot (drum beats; cha-ching) (audience cheers)...$247,500 -- just shy of a quarter million. As you know, you can build up the jackpot during the main event. Any roll of 2, 3, 11, or 12 is wild. That means we add $5000 to the pot -- and we give you the power to take any half medal. But when one lucky number remains, you must come up with a natural combination in a maximum of five attempts. Anytime your roll leads to half a medal that you've already captured, we'll add $2500 and let you roll again. But -- you know the downer -- any roll of 7 puts the main event... (danger zone cue; lights briefly flicker in certain parts of studio)...in the danger zone. That means any half medals you've collected will be at risk. The next roll of 7 means you end the main event with nothing. So at certain intervals I'll give you a chance to stop. (Doug hands dice to Steve) Best of luck to you. Because you if you clean house, you'll likely blow the roof off of this place. (audience cheers) Off you go, Steve (audience cheers as...) (Steve rolls)(more cheer) A 4! Right off the bat -- one of the gold rolls. (chime sfx)Roll a 10 -- and you get the jeeps. Roll again, please. (audience cheers as...) (Steve rolls)There's a 5 -- a silver number. (chime sfx)A 9 in any combination and you'll be playing for $75,000 when this is over. Keep on rollin'. (audience cheers as...) (Steve rolls)Another 5. Well that mean a quarter of a million *pennies* go into the kitty. (drum beats; cha-ching)Bringing the jackpot total to a quarter of a million *dollars*. (audience cheers)And you're not in danger -- so please keep rolling, Steve. (audience cheers as...) (Steve rolls) (audience cheers)TEN!!! The Jeeps are now yours, Steve. *And* -- you're halfway to winning the whole kit and caboodle. How ya likin' this so far?

I bet you are. Keep rolling, please. (audience cheers as...) (Steve rolls) (chimes; audience cheers) Wild roll! Better news! (drum beats; cha-ching) Okay -- another $5000 to the jackpot. Now, Steve, I think I know what you want to do. But let me explain the options. You may call this wild roll of 3 a 6 or 8 and be halfway to winning the motorcycle -- or -- you could call it a 9 and complete the silver medal for a chance to win $75,000 later in the show. (audience shouts suggestions)

(chime sfx) (audience cheers)Had a hunch you'd do that. Okay. Two lucky numbers remain. Wild rolls can help -- but not for much longer. Keep on keepin' on. (audience cheers as...) (Steve rolls)Another 5. Well, you know the drill. (drum beats; cha-ching)Repeat roll of 5 means we put another $2500 in the jackpot -- and we'll let you roll again. (audience cheers as...) (Steve rolls) (audience cheers)Six! Ohhh kay. Here's where things take a turn. (chime sfx)Steve, with one lucky number left on the board, you must roll an 8 naturally. You have as many as five attempts to roll that 8 -- because we do want to make sure "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" airs on time. (scattered laughter from crowd) Any repeat roll still adds $2500 to the pot. Any wild roll still adds $5000 to the pot -- but you can't "back into the victory". You must roll double fours, a 3 and 5, or a 2 and a 6. You could also a roll a 1 and a 7 to win it all -- but only if you're Chuck Norris. (more laughter from crowd) If you roll any combination of 7, we still will hold up the game and give you a chance to stop with the car and the change to play Happy Halloween. With all that disclosed -- ready to roll that natural 8?

(audience cheers)Not a crazy idea at all, Steve. Just the way, uh huh, uh huh, we want it. (audience cheers as...) (Steve rolls) (mixed reactions) I know -- right? (drum beats; cha-ching) Wild roll -- adds more money to the pot -- but can't give you the win. Four more tries to go, Steve. Let's see if you can nail it this time. (audience cheers as...) (Steve rolls) (scattered groans and woahs) Okay -- at least it's not a 7. (drum beats; cha-ching)That's a $2500 addition to the pot. Three more shots, Steve. You can do it. (audience cheers as...) (Steve rolls)(mixed reactions) Boxcars -- well -- another $5000 for the pot. (drum beats; cha-ching)$270,000 -- but let's get that 8 now! (audience cheers as...) (Steve rolls)(scattered groans) That's -- not an eight. (drum beats; cha-ching)Okay, Steve. Last of your five rolls to get that 8 are coming up. If you roll a 7 on this last attempt, you'll be in the danger zone -- but be out of it just as quick since the game would be over by then. Anything other than a 7 or 8 would add more money to the pot. An 8 would award $272,500 cash plus the motorcycle. How are you feeling going into this last roll?

Let's see if you can cap off the day with an 8. Good luck and give 'em one last roll. (audience cheers as Steve claps dice together and then . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . rolls) (audience groans) Another 6. (drum beats; cha-ching) Well -- that was the last of the five attempts with one lucky number left -- ending the main event in stalemate. However, there's still great news. You still get to trade in the gold and silver medals for the Jeeps and the chance to play Happy Halloween. You also receive $1000 cash for each half medal you've collected -- including the completed gold and silver medals -- for a total of $5000. Pending the Halloween game, Steve, you've won from this main event $120,648. (audience cheers)We add that to your prior winnings -- and you've slightly better than doubled that total -- to -- $243,112. (audience cheers)Steve, we need a moment to set up Happy Halloween. When we come back, we'll play it. Success could mean we bump that total up to more than $300,000. More of Lucky Numbers in just a bit. (commercial cue plays; audience applauds)

(ASB cue plays; audience applauds) Back on Lucky Numbers and with Steve after a *near* perfect main event. Almost got everything. But your total winnings for three wins are impressive. (audience cheers)$243,112 in cash and merchandise. And you could be breaking the 300-grand barrier if you win big in our game of Happy Halloween. There it is. One of those numbers is lucky and hides a jack-o'-lantern filled with $75,000. The remaining five numbers are unlucky and hide zombies, which are worthless. And there's nothing like running into a worthless zombie -- believe you me. (scattered laughter from crew) I'll tell you more about the game in a bit, Steve. But first, which of the dice are you going to play with? The first or the second?

Okay, you take the first cube, I'll take the second cube. Steve, with that cube, you'll roll it a maximum of five times. If you roll the number that hides the jack-o'-lantern on the board, the game ends and you $75,000 cash. If you roll a number that hides a zombie, you'll get another try so long as you've not exhausted your five rolls. In the event you repeat a number, that counts as a wasted number -- obviously delighting the zombies -- and -- you don't want to encourage the zombies -- believe you me. (scattered laughter from crew) Best of luck, Steve. We're all with you now. Go find that jack-o'-lantern. (audience cheers as Steve rolls...) Starting with 4. Is the jack-o'-lantern there? (buzz)Nope. Zombie. Four more tries. (audience cheers as Steve rolls...) (scattered groans) Four again. (buzz) 'Fraid that's a wasted roll. Three chances to go. (audience cheers as Steve rolls...) A 5 this time. How about it? (buzz)Another zombie. Two rolls to go, Steve. How we feeling?

Okay. Roll a new number and you'll increase your chances. (audience cheers as Steve rolls...) (audience groans) (buzz)That's not a new number. Last roll, Steve. Got to roll 1, 2, 3, or 6 to have a shot at $75,000. (audience cheers as Steve rolls...) (burst of cheers) A 2. If screen number two hides the jack- o'- lantern, you win seventy- five thousand dollars in cash. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . (buzz; PQA25 "wonk wonk" cue play; audience groans)Darn zombies! Sorry about that. Where was the big money? The 6 had the $75,000. Steve, unfortunately, nothing but tricks in this session of Happy Halloween. But still, an impressive three-win total... (audience cheers)...$243,112.

Well, if you can extend that winning streak to five, you'll play the all-cash main event for at least $1,000,000. If the current jackpot hasn't been claimed by then, ohhhh -- wow -- that's going to be a lucrative main event. From all of us at Lucky Numbers, we wish you and yours a safe and Happy Halloween... ...and remember -- help control the zombie population -- keep your brain far away from a zombie! (audience laughs and applauds)Make it a great day, keep the faith, and treasure your loved ones. (closing theme plays; audience applause) Bill: This has been a Merrill Heatter Production -- in association with Century Towers Productions.
