plans got trashed with the remains of a certain hurricane going through where I live, making the vacation plans kaput.... power also went out yesterda (as well as internet, cable, phone, etc) with power just NOW coming back (with me using my phone's hot spot to be able to be online to say this... but i'm declaring the break over for now.
