[T][H][E] [N][E][W] [B][L][A][C][K]
[N][O] [R][H][Y][M][E] [F][O][R] [I][T]
Second line is "The New Black" as in that series on Netflix, and "No Rhyme for It". Well, we did some research on it before the show, and that's no longer the case. The only word in the 20-volume historical Oxford English Dictionary that rhymes with orange is sporange, a very rare alternative form of sporangium. Sporangium, of course, is a botanical term for a part of a fern or similar plant. So, now you know. And knowing is half the battle. (audience laughs and cheers) And who says late night TV isn't educational? Well, Matt, that was a tough break for you. Even in psuedo-prime time, you're not having any luck here, I'm sorry to say. But we still have game #2 of this match to play, and you'll have a second chance at it. In the meantime, Brittny will escort you down to our new-and-improved Contestant's Row, powered by 5-Hour Energy! (and Matt is escorted down to Contestant's Row, where he gets an energy shot) OK, Jon. Now since this is psuedo-prime time, we'll multiply whatever you roll here by $10,000. So, that means you could be playing for as much as $120,000! (audience cheers) So, here are the dice. (I give them to Jon) Good luck, and let's hope for a high number. (the audience cheers as Jon rolls the dice) (dings)(audience goes crazy) $110,000AN ELEVEN! You're playing for $110,000! What do you think of that?

(fade in) (cheers and applause) Greg: We're back with our co-champion Jon. He'll be playing Lucky Seven in a moment, but first, some programming notes about what will be in this timeslot in the coming weeks. [PRE-OPENING] CBS LATE NIGHT
June 22-26 ON A ROLL: AFTER DARK June 29-July 3 BLUE BLOODS July 6-10 THE GOOD WIFE July 13-17 LATE SHOW WITH GREG PALMER July 20-24 THE PRICE IS RIGHT '86 SPECIALS July 27-31 HAWAII FIVE-0 August 3-7 SCORPION August 10-14 NCIS: NEW ORLEANS August 17-21 CSI: CYBER August 24-28 BIG BROTHER AFTER DARK August 31-Sept. 4 WISEGUY: THE GARMENT TRADE
This week, we'll be on all week at this time with special After Dark shows. Other things I'd like to point out on the schedule include a week of Late Show with Greg Palmer, followed by classic primetime Prices from 1986. The week of August 24th ought to be interesting, we're extending Big Brother After Dark by an hour to bring you even more footage of your favorite HouseGuests. Then, the week of August 31st will feature reruns of Wiseguy guest starring Jerry Lewis. This is because we can't show you the Dead Dog Records storyline. That's all late night on CBS. Now, Jon, do you see anything there that you like?

Well, you can see them all after your late news on CBS. Now, let's get onto the bonus game. You're playing for $110,000.
[LUCKY SEVEN] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [WINNINGS: $ ] [STRIKES: ] [CAR TOKENS: 2] [PLAYING FOR: $110,000]
And you picked up two car tokens. One for winning the game, and another for solving the puzzle with one clue. That is a feat unto itself. Now, since this is the psuedo-primetime version, each number you knock off will be worth $1,000. But if you knock off all seven numbers, you'll win $110,000! (audience cheers) And as always, only the money you earn here will be the score Matt will have to beat if he comes up here. Now that all the legal stuff is out of the way, here are the dice. Good luck. You, are On a Roll. (Jon rolls the dice) Seven's out of the way. There's $1,000. (ding)(audience cheers as the dice come back)
[LUCKY SEVEN] [4] [5] [6] [X] [8] [9] [10] [WINNINGS: $ 1000] [STRIKES: ] [CAR TOKENS: 2] [PLAYING FOR: $110,000]
A good start. Keep it up. (he rolls) A 10! (ding)(audience cheers as the dice come back)
[LUCKY SEVEN] [4] [5] [6] [X] [8] [9] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 2000] [STRIKES: ] [CAR TOKENS: 2] [PLAYING FOR: $110,000]
Up to $2,000 so far. Keep it up! (he rolls) (doubles)(audience groans as the dice come back)
[LUCKY SEVEN] [4] [5] [6] [X] [8] [9] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 2000] [STRIKES: X ] [CAR TOKENS: 2] [PLAYING FOR: $110,000]
That's OK, it's only your first strike. You don't want to repeat it, though. Roll again. (he rolls) A 6! Nice job! (ding)(audience cheers as the dice come back)
[LUCKY SEVEN] [4] [5] [X] [X] [8] [9] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 3000] [STRIKES: X ] [CAR TOKENS: 2] [PLAYING FOR: $110,000]
Up to $3,000 so far. You're doing very well, with only one strike. Roll again! (he rolls) Repeats are worth $100 in psuedo-prime time.
[LUCKY SEVEN] [4] [5] [X] [X] [8] [9] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 3100] [STRIKES: X ] [CAR TOKENS: 2] [PLAYING FOR: $110,000]
(the dice come back) Four numbers to go. Roll again! (he does) Another repeat, another Franklin.
[LUCKY SEVEN] [4] [5] [X] [X] [8] [9] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 3200] [STRIKES: X ] [CAR TOKENS: 2] [PLAYING FOR: $110,000]
(the dice come back) Roll again. (he does) Up to $3,300.
[LUCKY SEVEN] [4] [5] [X] [X] [8] [9] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 3300] [STRIKES: X ] [CAR TOKENS: 2] [PLAYING FOR: $110,000]
(the dice come back) Roll again. (he does) A niner! (ding)(audience cheers as the dice come back)
[LUCKY SEVEN] [4] [5] [X] [X] [8] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 4300] [STRIKES: X ] [CAR TOKENS: 2] [PLAYING FOR: $110,000]
Up to $4,300. You're hot tonight! Roll again! (he does) Double threes! (doubles)(audience groans as the dice come back)
[LUCKY SEVEN] [4] [5] [X] [X] [8] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 4300] [STRIKES: X X ] [CAR TOKENS: 2] [PLAYING FOR: $110,000]
Well, Jon, you have two strikes. You can't get any more doubles from this point on. Audience, cheer him on! Audience: No doubles! No doubles! No doubles! No doubles! No doubles!(he rolls) A 5! (ding)(audience cheers as the dice come back)
[LUCKY SEVEN] [4] [X] [X] [X] [8] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 5300] [STRIKES: X X ] [CAR TOKENS: 2] [PLAYING FOR: $110,000]
Two numbers to go, Jon. (Jon rolls while the audience chants "No doubles!") (Wild)(audience cheers as the dice come back) An eleven! What'll it be, a car token or do you want to activate Wally's countdown by taking off a number? (audience shouts suggestions)

(ding)(cheers and applause) That only leaves the eight....
[LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [X] [8] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 6300] [STRIKES: X X ] [CAR TOKENS: 2] [PLAYING FOR: $110,000]
(alarm goes off)(audience oooohs)
[LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [X] [8] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 6300] [STRIKES: X X ] [CAR TOKENS: 2] [ SHUTDOWN TIMER ACTIVATED ]
[LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [X] [8] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 6300] [STRIKES: X X ] [CAR TOKENS: 2] [SHUTDOWN IN: 5 ROLLS]
And that means the shutdown timer is activated. Jon, you have five rolls to get an eight. If you roll doubles or fail to roll an eight in five rolls, the game is over. Good luck. Roll! (Jon rolls as the audience chants "No Doubles!") (bust buzzer, TPiR losing horns, audience groans...)
[LUCKY SEVEN] [X] [X] [X] [X] [8] [X] [X] [WINNINGS: $ 6300] [STRIKES: X X X ] [CAR TOKENS: 2] [ GAME OVER ]
Ugh! Jon... Jon, Jon, Jon...... What a tragedy. And just when you hit the shutdown timer, too.

There's an expression that goes, "Bit by bit, the little bird builds its nest." And Jon, you've done a lot of building in the past few shows. So far, you have in cash and prizes....
