You all know him as the original host of the classic game show "Hollywood Squares" for 16 years.
Sadly, Peter Marshall has passed away at the age of 98 from kidney failure.
Deepest condolences to his family and friends, and may he rest in peace.

Oh wow, very sad to learn that but mercy what a long life he had.
He was pretty darn sharp too right up to the end.
Tony I hope we can do some sort of tribute to him during our MG/HS Hour episode.

and i'm sure the upcoming IRL reboot of Hollywood Squares will do something to mark the occasion on its first episode later this year

It is hard to believe that he just passed away. Mr. Hollywood Squares (That was my nickname for him growing up.) will never be forgotten. I love all the stars but my favorite male was Paul Lynde while my favorite female was Rose Marie.

wow,that is shocking, I had to double check for a minute because well it feels like he was still somewhat active, I really hope he goes to those squares in the sky. just as it was announced Hollywood squares was coming back as well.
