To capture your second square... *cheers* 11! This is also for the diagonal block! Bill, are you rolling higher or lower than 11? *audience shouts suggestions*

Get this and it's a diagonal block, otherwise George wins the round. Roll 'em! *cheers* An 8! *ding* And just like that, we've got a match going. Both players are on the verge of victory, and a chance at some bonus cash! Not to mention that pool someone can win as well. George, it's your turn. Pick a square!

This is for the round, a new pool, and a shot at the Numbers game: An 8. A relatively high number in this game. George this is for a win, do you think you'll roll higher...or lower than an 8?

9, 10, 11, or 12 means we're still in business. Otherwise, you win that pool and will have a chance at a lot of dough. Roll 'em! *audience cheers as...George rolls* You win! *dings, cheers, win cue* George, you get that new pool kit: You have $2,421 worth of prizes so far...with the chance to win even more, up to $5,000 cash! *audience oohs, cheers* If this was an actual show, Bill wouldn't be out of the runnings, he'd play against a third player for the other spot in the head-to-head round to play against George. George, as a bonus...it's time for the Numbers game: On the bottom row to the right of the board is 5 numbers. In a moment, those numbers will light up...and you'll win $1,000 for each of YOUR numbers that match. What I want you to do is call 5 random numbers, and we'll hope for a match!

An odd straight. Each number you match snags you $1,000 in cash. Get all 5 numbers and it's a 5 Number Win. What are the numbers this round? 8, 3, 4, 5, and 7! 3 numbers match, that's $3,000! *dings, cheers* And George wins $5,421 in cash and prizes! He's off to the head-to-head round to play for $10,000. He'd need an opponent, so Bill would play against another player, and the winner of THAT game goes to play against George in the Head-to-Head round. No need to test that, since it's just a continuation of what we just did. So now I'll open the floor to comments. billmcdee, bighornbattle, or anyone else who happened to "watch" this test unfold...how do we feel about this new addition to the NGC family? What works, what doesn't? After all, this is one of the only places where the viewers have a say as to what they become a part of

Nice elements of strategy, knowledge of odds with dice rolling and luck as well. One suggestion I might make is to make winning the center box on the game board a bit more challenging by having the center tic tac toe box always be 7, making it a bit more difficult to capture. A bigger gamble but potentially a bigger reward. To that end, perhaps make the corner boxes on the board not quite as hard by having them with the numbers 5, 6, 8 and 9 in them with the 4 least advantageous squares on the tic tac toe board be 3,4, 10 and 11... I would not have 2 or 12 as numbers on the grid because as you said, a tie roll simply means you roll again and with 2 and 12 being automatic winners, it takes away any suspense at all. Conversely, imagine if you go for the box with the "3" and your player rolls a 2! That would be tragic but super dramatic (not unlike betting $16,000 lower than a King and an Ace turns up). I like that there is a qualifying game to get to the 5 Number Win bonus. The name of the game itself "5 number win" is a tad bit misleading as in this sample game, George had only 3 numbers but still won something. I'd say if a player gets all 5 numbers right on their first try, a truly "5 number win" they would win a car or a progressive cash jackpot. I would also do the 5 number win ticket similar to the pricing game Cover Up. The digits zero through nine would be concealed in the five boxes, like on a scratch off lottery ticket. Each digit would appear only once. Matching all five on the first try as I mentioned would win a growing jackpot. Getting one or more numbers matched on the first try would win $1,000 per number, but if they are lined up and match exactly $2,500 per matched number selected. So with this example, the 6 and 4 align with the winning numbers on the bottom line, $2,500 for each of those. The player also selected 9 as one of his five numbers. It matches the winning numbers in the bottom row but not lined up so that would pay $1,000 for a total of $6,000. I did enjoy playing this very much and would love to again if it ever becomes a regular feature on here.

Thanks fellas! I agree Bill, the "5 Number Win" aspect was tough to come up with. I made a version of this game way back when I was a wee little lad, and had to remember most of it's aspects I had originally thought if a player wins 5 Numbers and matches all 5 they'd win a larger prize, say $10,000 or even $25,000 (tried to do something small considering it's a daytime show I'm testing for). But knowing me and jackpots, I may use that progressive jackpot. Thank you fellas for your participation and thanks Bill for your feedback. Much appreciated. After a little tweaking I'll see to putting this on the NGC schedule!
