No they are actually purple! They made their debut in Despicable Me 2! Kourtney remains the champ!  (huge applause) I was afraid of that! After a brief conference on the question, we concluded there was not enough specific information about the purple minions being evil. The yellow ones did start out evil in the first movie, but of course comically reformed.
So in all fairness, we've decided to bring Kevin back on the next program!
In the meantime, Kourtney is going to play our new Bonus Island with some changes that went on at the last minute, but it prove more exciting!
