As promised, here is my net game, "Cash Cards." Before I tell you about the game, let me go over a few ground rules and make sure they are very clear.
1. All members and staff in the forum are welcome to play the game. 2. Please sign up ONLY if you really want to play the game. 3. Remember only to answer only when it is your turn. 4. Audience members are encouraged to help if they choose to. 5. If you win big in the game, you may express your emotions, but please don't "go overboard." 6. If you MUST be out of the game for a while, please PM me and let me know why. I will gladly adjust the game for you until you return. 7. No inappropriate language or negative posts. 8. The most important rule to remember is to HAVE FUN! After all, THAT is why I created the game in the first place.
Ok. Now that we're past the ground rules, let's discuss the game. "Cash Cards" is a combination cash game and is played in three parts: The Main Game, the "Cash Cards" Round and the "Becky's Challenge" Bonus Game. I'll explain about each round as the game progresses. If you are interested in playing the game, please sign up now. Remember to stay within the guidelines and remember that EVERYONE is a winner.

Welcome, George and Nels. I hope you enjoy playing the game, and I wish both of you the best of luck. As I have stated earlier, I have made some changes to the "Cash Cards Game." The game is played in three parts: The Main Game (Which we are about to start in just a moment), The Cash Cards Round And The Becky's Challenge Bonus Round. I'll explain the other two rounds as we come to them. Right now, let's start the Main game. The Main Game works like this. In front of us now (as the board opens, revealing the big slot machine-like board) is a giant slot machine board. In each of the windows are number cards ranging from 1-10. These are monetary values, and each value is unique as stated below: =$100 =$200 =$300 =$400 =$500
=$600 =$700 =$800 =$900 =$1000 = Anytime a JOKER appears on the board, the monetary value is doubled. The champion plays first and "spins the wheels" to determine how much money the current question will be worth. I will then ask a general knowledge question with three possible answers. One is the correct answer, and the other two are incorrect. The player in control can decide whether to answer the question or challenge their opponent to answer. If the player decides to answer, and they are correct, they get the money and have the option to spin again for another question or pass control to their opponent. An incorrect answer gives their opponent chance to answer. If the opponent's answer is correct, they will get the money and take control. If the player in control decides to challenge, and the opponent's answer is correct, the opponent gets the money and takes control. If the challenged player answers incorrectly, the previous player regains control and gets the money. Play continues until I say, "Time's up!" or until someone "spins" three Jokers. If three Jokers appear on the board, the game will automatically go into "sudden death," and the player who answers the question correctly will win the round and $500. They will also have the lead in the Cash Cards round. Ok. That being said, let's begin the Main Game. George, you have been given the opportunity to play first. So, pull the handle in front of you, and let's start the game.

100, 100, and 300. That means the value of this first question will be worth $500. And here is the question:"In a typical baseball game, how many runs are scored for a Grand Slam?" Is it: 2, 3, or 4? You may choose to answer this question, or you can challenge Nels and have him answer. What would you like to do? Answer the question, or challenge Nels?

You are correct! (Audience applause) And you now have $500 for that correct answer, George. What would you like to do, George? Spin again for another question or pass to Nels?

Very well, George. Let's see what comes up this time. 100, Joker, 100. This question will be worth $400, because the Joker doubles the monetary value. Here is the question: "On the periodic table, the element gold is represented by what two-letter combination?" Is it.... AU, AG or AL? If you're right, we'll add $400 to your score. If not, Nels will have a chance to answer. Or, you can pass to Nels and challenge him to answer. What would you like to do, George?

You are correct again, George! (Audience applause) We'll add $400 to your score. You now have $900, George. Would you like to spin again for another question or pass to Nels?

Spin again please.

Ok, George. Let's see what this spin will be worth.
Oh! ALMOST had 3 Jokers there! Well, anyway, this question will be worth $1600, because of the $400 and the TWO Jokers on the board. (One Joker doubles it to $800, and the other Joker doubles THAT to $1600) Here is the question:"We know that in the U.S., at Christmastime, there is the legend of Santa Claus. Other countries celebrate Christmas too, but which of these countries has a woman with 16 candles on her head instead of a Santa Claus? (Again, according to legend)" Is it: Germany, Sweden or Denmark? You may answer the question if you wish, or you may pass to Nels and challenge HIM to answer. What would you like to do?

And you're right again, George! (Audience applause) You said you're going to PASS to Nels. But, before that, let's add the $1600 to your score. George has a current total of $2500. Ok, Nels, it is your turn to play. Pull the handle and let's see how much your first question will be worth.

Ok, Nels. Let's find out how much your first question is worth. 300, 700,600. This question will be worth $1600. And, if you answer correctly, you'll be right back in this game. Here is the question: "We know that the study of plants is called Botany, and the study of animals is called Zoology. But what is the study of human beauty called?" Is the correct answer Kalology, Oncology or Anthropology? You may choose to answer the question, or you may pass it to George and challenge him. What would you like to do, Nels?

And your answer is RIGHT, Nels! (Audience applause) And that gives you $1600. You are still in control. You can spin again for another question, or you can pass to George. What would you like to do, Nels?

Very well, Nels. Let's see how much THIS question is worth. THREE JOKERS! (Audience applause) We will automatically tie your score with George. Nels, it is STILL your turn to answer, but now the stakes are a little bit higher. I will ask you a question, and if you answer it correctly, you will have the lead in the Cash Cards Round. If you answer incorrectly, George will have the lead in the Cash Cards Round. So, if you're ready, Nels, here is the question:
"In computer terms, which of the following Windows Systems is the OLDEST?" Is it: Windows NT, Windows XP or Windows 95? You are not allowed to challenge in "Sudden Death." You must answer the question on your own. So, which one is it, Nels?

You're right, Nels! (Audience applause) And that adds $500 to your score. After the Main Game, Nels has the lead, but George will have a chance to catch up in the Cash Cards Round. And THAT round will begin....Right after this. (Commercial break)

Welcome back to "Cash Cards." At the end of the Main Game, the scores looked like THIS: Nels has the lead and control as we start Round 2: The "Cash Cards" Round. Here is the Cash Cards Board. There are 30 spaces on the board. On the board are the following elements: Playing cards--The values of the cards are listed below: 10s, Aces and Face Cards are $1000. The other cards are worth the number on the card multiplied by $100. There are also bandits (these do not take winnings away, but will give control to the other player) The player who accumulates the most money after I call "Time's Up!" wins the game and will move on to the Becky's Challenge round. Also, if one player "hits" four bandits during the round, their opponent automatically wins (No money will be lost, however) Whatever card appears on the board, that amount will be added to the player's current winnings. Nels, since you have the lead and control, you have earned the right to play first. Let's shuffle the board please. (Board is shuffled) Ok, Nels. Select a number (1-30) and good luck.

Very well. Nels has chosen #12. As long as there is not a bandit behind #12, you will still have control. Let's see what is behind Box #12 please. It's a 7, and that adds $700 more to your score. Nels, you have a decision to make. You can select another box if you choose to and try for more money, or you may pass to George. What do you want to do? Play for more money or pass to George?
