Well, as Rich said, I am from Spartanburg, SC. I enjoy Mahjong, singing, do word finds, love listening to news themes, watch game shows, and enjoying life. I have 5 friends cheering me on no matter what.

Hey, always nice to have friends cheering you on. I've wondered how tough it is to play mahjong, but hopefully Tic Tac Dough here is easier.
And Bill, what can I say? You started off your championship with a bang and there's nowhere to go but up.

I certainly hope to do so. I must win more money to pay for the income taxes I incurred from my big win on yesterday's show!

It just keeps piling on the more you win, doesn't it? *audience laughs* It's true, it's true! But we want everyone to win a lot of money on our show, and you two know how to do it. We have nine categories on the board here for our first game: 1. The 1990s 2. Number Please 3. Football 4. Jims and James 5. Japan 6. It's A Dilemma 7. Sitcoms 8. Royalty 9. Felines Each of your jobs is to make Tic Tac Dough across, horizontally, or diagonally. Each outside box is worth $500 for the pot and the center box is worth $1000 since it's so important, but it's always a two-part question. And you see two red categories there; those are our special categories and I'll explain the rules to them should either of them be picked along the way. Should you tie, the money in the pot is carried over into the next game and the values of each box is doubled. It takes two games to win a match here on The All-New Tic Tac Dough, and here's something I didn't mention before on our last show: if you're skilled and lucky enough to win five matches in a row on our show, you will win a fabulous new car! *audience cheers and applause* And of course the winner of our match gets to go to the Beat The Dragon bonus game, where you can possibly win the Dragon's Jackpot, which Bill has. And that always starts at: *ding* $100,000
*more cheers and applause, and possibly a "Boo-yeah!" coming from the crowd* Must be your friends, George. Anyway, the X player, our champion, always goes first in Game 1, so Bill, start us off.

Football in the top right.
This quarterback, whom spent his first five years with the Chargers, spent fifteen more seasons with the New Orleans Saints. He led them to a win in Super Bowl XLIV and retired after 2020 with the most passing yards by a quarterback with 80,358 of them. Name him.

Japan in the center please.

It'll be $1,000 and an O if you can get this two-part question right. Here we go. Japan's language utilizes the Latin alphabet, Arabic numbers, and three other sets of characters. The first uses characters borrowed from the Chinese language, the second is commonly used to spell out words from those Chinese characters, and the third is used for words borrowed from other languages. Name two of those three systems.
*90 TTD think music* What are your answers, George?

That's right, and the other is katakana, good job!
*ding, applause*
*whoooooooosh, bong*
Two questions, both answered correctly, $1,500 in the pot and we have our first shuffle.
*90 TTD shuffle chimes*
*90 TTD stop dings*
Please select, Bill.

Sitcoms in the top center. Here's your question, Bill:
This spin-off sitcom on CBS, which premiered in 2017, follows the Cooper family, Texans whose youngest son is a genius but struggles with relating to his family and coping with people whom are not as smart as him. For the box, name the show.

Japan it is, scoreboard had a little error there, it should have said $2,000. Anyway, here's your question:
Considered the father of modern manga, this artist and cartoonist created pioneering manga and anime such as Astro Boy, Kimba The White Lion and Phoenix, as they are known in English. For the box, name him.
