And I have Matt's challenger so we shall begin. All deadlines are 48 hours as usual and away we go. (cue intro) Rich: And now, a game of high stakes, where every decision is a gamble and every move could be your last. High Rollers! (1987 theme) And here's the man with all the action, Mark Liotta! (I come out to a tremendous applause from the audience) Me: Thank you, Rich Fields! And welcome once again to High Rollers everyone. (Theme cuts out) As mentioned yesterday, this is an exciting week for us on High Rollers because on this Friday's show, the top two scoring players over the course of this season will compete for an opportunity to win $100,000 in the Big Numbers round. One of our players today could very well have that opportunity at the end of the week, so let's meet them right now. Rich, introduce everyone to our champion and his challenger, would you please? Rich: I'd be happy to. Our returning champion is a courtesy clerk from Council Bluffs, Iowa and is also involved with Special Olympics. Welcome back Matt Riggenberg. Matt's one day total is $15,326. And challenging Matt is Leaf Apollo. Me: Now Leaf, it says here that you run your own Let's Play channel on YouTube and that you're also a member of a collab YouTube group known as Roadrunner Games. How are those working out for you?

I'm more active on my own, surprisingly, but I enjoy doing vids with friends every now and then.

Speaking of which, I saw every single Mario Party 1 video you and your friends did on Roadrunner Games and I was very impressed with what I saw considering that I own that game for my own N64 collection. Good luck to you on our show today, Leaf. Now you and Matt pay close attention to the prizes you guys are going to be playing for in our first game. Rich: In column one, a pair of electric bicycles from Genzee. Both bikes are seven speed and include disc brakes and lithium ion battery. Retail value: $2,998. Me: They do everything electric these days it seems. How about column two? Rich: In column two, a new bedroom from the Michael Amini After Eight collection. Includes upholstered queen bed, dresser with mirror, two nightstands and Maxim queen mattress with plush upholstery and premium pocket coils. Retail value: $8,353. Me: And how about in column three? Rich: In column three, a trip to Sweden. You'll fly round trip coach to Stockholm, Sweden for a six night stay at a nordic C hotel. Daily breakfast is included. Retail value: $9,814. That makes the total value of the board in game one worth $21,165. Me: Those look like some pretty good prizes. Let's line up the nine numbers on our board.
4 7 5 6 8 9 2 3 1
And the hot column is column one. Knock out all three numbers there and you could win those electric bikes worth nearly $3,000. All right, here comes our first question of the match. In London, UK, if you happen to die in the House of Parliament, you are technically entitled to a state funeral, because the building is considered too sacred a place. True or false.

That is false, I think.

You just got in first, Matt. However, your answer is incorrect. In the UK, state funerals are not mandatory. That means the correct answer is false and so Leaf, you get to roll the dice first.

He wants the seven taken off, so remove the seven please.
4 X 5 6 8 9 2 3 1
And here's our next question. Valentine's day is banned in Saudi Arabia. True or false.

That is indeed true, yes. I guess the term "love at first sight" doesn't apply there. Give those dice another roll, Leaf

Let's take the 4,2 and 1 off the board.
X X 5 6 8 9 X 3 X
And here comes the next question. What U.S. city bills itself as the entertainment capital of the world?

Right. Los Angeles would be acceptable also. Now Matt, there are three numbers you want to avoid rolling. Those numbers are 4,7 and 10. Do you wish to roll the dice or pass them to Leaf?

Only three bad rolls. I'm rolling them.

It's a three, and there's only one way we can take it off the board.
X X 5 6 8 9 X X X
The three is gone, and here's our next question. In Pokemon, how many gym badges do you need to earn in each region in order to qualify for that region's Pokemon League?

Right. Now Leaf, we still have 5,6,8,9 and 11 as good numbers. Do you want to roll the dice or pass them?

It's a six! We can clear that, but with only the six.
X X 5 X 8 9 X X X
And with that, we clear out column one. Those electric bikes will be yours if you win this game, Leaf. Three numbers remain on the board as we go to the next question. In what mountain range is Branson, Missouri located?

No, it's in the Ozarks. The Rockies are further west. Matt, only three good numbers are left. Those numbers are 5,8 and 9. What do you want to do with the dice?
