Doug: Okay, George, before you take over, let's review what we know. Our guest shares his first and last name with a male actor who was a frequent guest of game shows in the 1980s. Again, we would advise not to ask about the actor's visits to those game shows in the decade. The actor is deceased and was Caucasian. The actor was not known primarily for comedy. The actor did have a starring role in a prime time television series. And, again, the actor's character did father at least one child -- but he's not primarily known for being in a paternal role. Doug: So, George, with that, seven questions -- annnnnd -- go.

I didn't think it was Richard Moll as I believe we established this was a non-comical celebrity.
Mr X, did you appear on a primetime dramatic series on television?

Mr. X: Oh no. Doug: Down to two questions, Bill. Use them wisely or pass?

And did you star as your character in this remake?

Mr. X: I reprised my role in the remake -- but didn't necessarily star. Doug: And we did advise our guest one of you would bring this up. Indeed, our guest's namesake was a regular cast member in the original series -- and was limited to recurring appearance on the remake. Doug: Kevin, with that clarified, three questions to go. Ask another or pass?

It was the clues about it being a drama series and it lasting a while. I knew Dallas got rebooted in the last decade, and I remember seeing Ken reprise his role in it. So when I asked about the role, it clicked.

Doug: Well, well done by you, Kevin. As for *this* Ken Kercheval, he's a scouting leader in Mississippi. How often did people bring up the actor in conversation? Ken: Oh -- all the time. Especially in the height of the "Who shot J.R.?" storyline. People asked if *I* shot him. (scattered laughter from crowd) Would've loved to because I loved to hate J.R. like everyone else. Doug: Didn't we all. Well, sorry you're not taking home some big check -- but we do have some fine gifts for you that Bill Kennedy will tell us all about later in the show. A nice hand for Ken Kercheval (audience cheers) (much updated version of "Shooting Star" by Sidney Torch plays) Doug: While you go over there and say hello to the panel -- we'll take this break and play Game 2 of The Name's The Same. (audience cheers)

Doug: Welcome back to The Name's The Same. Doug: Kevin's now up to $45,000 in total for The Lustgarten Foundation. Bill's still at $30,000 for The Deborah Heart & Lung Medical Center. George is still at $30,000 Meals on Wheels. Right now, let's get ready for our next challenger. Please welcome -- Mrs. X. (audience cheers)Doug: Welcome, Mrs. X. Mrs. X: Thanks, Doug. Hi, Bill, Kevin, and George. Doug: Panel, here are your head start hints in Game 2. Our guest shares her first name and married last name with an actress from a famous movie franchise. The actress achieved her biggest success in the movie franchise. So we're looking for the guest's first name and *married* last name as opposed to her *maiden* last name. With that clarified, we'll show the home audience who our guest is. (audience cheers) (ding) And we've replenished your supply of questions. Seven for each of you. Kevin, you're panelist number two. So you'll start game number two. Seven questions. Good luck everyone -- and go Kevin.
