Correct and you've finally gotten a monopoly! [LOUD CHEERS AND APPLAUSE][DING]And Matt gets his second property. First we'll give him the $400. [DING]Next, we'll combine the 750 to his score... and he'll end up in second place with... [DING]$2,240. [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]At the end of the acquisition round, Dave is in third place with $2,100... Matt is in second place with $2,240... and our champion Nels is in the lead with $4,580! [APPLAUSE CONTINUES]Players... you may now use your cash to improve your properties by adding houses and hotels. Houses cost $50 each, and must be built evenly across a Property Block. The maximum is 4 houses. And a Hotel costs $250 on a Property Block. You have 48 hours to PM your purchases and how much houses and/or hotels are you gonna buy on each property. And coming up next, we'll be playing the Big Money round. The player with the most money will be walking once around the board for $100,000. We'll continue with more of Monopoly right after this. Stick around... [COMMERCIAL CUE][CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]*fade to commercial* ==========================================================================================================================

*back to studio*
[STINGER CUE][CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Jim Thornton: It's time for the Big Money Round on Monopoly. Once again, here's Tony.[MORE CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Tony: Thanks, Jim. And during the commercial break, our contestants have been purchasing some upgrades on each property. Let's take a look at what the board looks like right now... And all three players had purchased hotels on each property. Furthermore, the effect guys had fixed the color schematics on both Mediterranean Avenue and Baltic Avenue. Thus, the chocolate sector is now the purple sector. After the purchases, David is in third place with $600... our champ Nels is in second place with $1,080... and Matt is now in the lead with $1,740. Time now for our third and final round of Monopoly... the Big Money Round. For more details on how it works, here's our Dice Diva Denise Richards. Denise: Thank you, Tony. With the 20 rolls, the neon light will land on a property. The owner of the property will be provided with the question asked by Tony. A correct answer to the question earns the hotel or houses value; If the owner's response is not correct, the owner will not be penalized. However, the other two players will buzz in for a chance to earn the hotel or houses price (risking losing money for a wrong answer); If the light lands on either the Electric Company or Water Works, a toss-up question for all three of them will be worth $100 times the total number of the dice; Or if it lands on Free Parking, the contestant who answers the toss-up question wins the Free Parking Jackpot starting at... [DING]$500. An Income or Luxury Tax, Go To Jail, or any penalty will be added to the Free Parking Jackpot. And if the cursor passes, or lands on, GO!, all three participants will each collect $200. If the neon light lands one either of the four railroads, the contestant who wins the toss-up question will end up in a Hostile Takeover situation. We'll explain it later on if it happens. Tony...? Tony: Thank you, Denise. And BTW... if you hear this sound-- [ALARM CHIRPS]It means that we have five rolls left. Whoever is in the lead at the end of the Big Money Round will have the right to play our bonus game Once Around The Board for a chance to win up to $100,000. [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Good luck to all three of you. Denise... roll the dice. [DENISE ROLLS DICE]And her first roll is an 8. And we've landed on VERMONT AVENUE... Nels' property. Jim, how much is Nels' question? Jim Thornton: With a hotel property, Nels' first question is worth $550.Tony: Nels... you have 24 hours to answer this question. Just a reminder-- On the first street, each correct answer begins with the letter K. Here's your question, Nels.

Correct! [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE][DING]Matt is in the lead with $2,240. The Free Parking Jackpot will remain at $500. The one bad roll we don't want to see is a 10. Denise, roll the dice. [ROLLS DICE]It's a 7... and we have landed on VENTNOR AVENUE. Back to Nels with his next question. How much is it, Jim? Jim: This could boost the lead for Nels because his next question is worth $1,150.Tony: On the third street, each correct answer begins with the letter P. Here's your question.
