Roll 2 more times, and avoid doubles, and that car is yours! Roll 'em! *audience cheers as...Kourtney rolls* Aww...*bad roll sfx, audience groans*Kourtney...Kourtney...I thought so hard that you'd have it there. Rolling doubles isn't too common, then you do this to us...on our last show...how could you?
*laughter*
Tell you what, Kourtney. You rolled a 10, I'll give you $100 times the roll, or $1,000.
*applause*
Thank you so much for playing, Kourtney! We've got a few more games to play to fill up the time left on our show...we'll continue those games after this!
*fade to commercial*

*more cheers*
(I point to Michael)
You sir, come down here!
(He comes to the stage, more cheers)
Hello sir, tell us all about yourself please!

My name is Michael Koontz. I'm from Pennsylvania, where I work at a retro video game shop. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, gaming and learning about history. And I'm excited to be here!

Funny, I too am a writer in my spare time. It's a lot of fun and very relaxing indeed. Good luck Michael, as we have one more game up our sleeve... COUNTDOWN
Michael, you're gonna play Countdown, which starts with a single die. Roll it. A 5. we multiply that by 4, giving us...
COUNTDOWN
2 0
20. I'm gonna give you a shot at $5,000, or even $10,000! To do that, you'll roll this die, and the amount you roll will be subtracted from your countdown number. However, you'll only win if that countdown hits zero, if you over shoot the countdown, the difference between the roll and the countdown number goes back to the bank.
For example, if the countdown's at 3, and you roll a 5, the countdown will go to 0, then will go up 2 to make up for the difference in the roll and the countdown number.
You have 6 rolls to make it happen. If you get that countdown to reach zero in 6 rolls or less, you win $5,000...but if, at any point, you get the countdown to hit zero without over shooting, I'll double it and give you $10,000!
*cheers*
Michael, if you understand the game, say "Pepperoni!"
*scattered laughter*

And he responded. Funny what people will do on these shows! Good luck Michael, roll the die! *audience cheers as...Michael rolls* A 3. We'll deduct 3 from the Countdown. COUNTDOWN 1 717's left in the countdown. We're a ways to go...roll again. Eesh. A one. COUNTDOWN 1 616's left. Third roll... There we go! A 5! COUNTDOWN
1 1
Now wait a minute. Don't roll again. I wanna make you an offer. You are 11 credits away from $5,000. Roll 11 without ever overshooting, and you win $10,000. But! If you think you can't get down to 0 in 3 rolls, I'll multiply the countdown by $100, and give you $1,100. What say you, Michael? *audience shouts suggestions*

$1,100 sounds nice, but I'm a risk taker, so I'm going to keep on rolling!

*cheers* We love taking risks around here! 11 credits away from $5,000...good luck. Roll 'em! *audience cheers as...Michael rolls* A deuce. We'll deduct 2. COUNTDOWN
99 credits away now, with 2 rolls left. Roll 'em! *audience cheers as...Michael rolls* *scattered cheers* Ooh...a 3! Take 3 out of the Countdown! COUNTDOWN
6Now Michael...this is it. If you roll a six, you win $10,000, since you'd have it on the nose! If you don't roll a 6....it's game over! Roll that die! *audience cheers as...Michael rolls* *buzzer, loud audience groans, boos* Oh my goodness. COUNTDOWN
1Of all the ways to end of this series...this has got to be the worst. Michael, I'm so terribly sorry. I'll make it up to you. You get $2,500 in cash, since it's our finale. We don't want you to go empty-handed! *cheers* And yes, that concludes this fine series, and one of the 5 chapters of my career. Let me just say it's been an honor and a lot of fun hosting this series during the summer and fall. I've always wanted a fun atmosphere where I can come on and express my love for game shows, and this has been everything I hoped for, in one way or another. Always remember: be kind to each other, and to yourself, and remember: for every bad day you have, it prepares you for every good day bound to come.
