vocaroo.com/1jnTXay2V2gfFrank Caliendo: This is our four day champion George Cluster. He has won more than $50,000 in cash. If he defeats today's challenger, George will win another $25,000 in cash. Frank Caliendo: It's the card game where Ace is always high and Deuce is always low. Turn any two cards in the deck face up, then just try to fit a card in between that's neither higher nor lower. Welcome to the newest, high stakes card game on television. SPLIT DECISION! (Cheering & applause) With your host, Bill McDee! (Cheering & applause) That's me! Welcome into another edition of Split Decision. As you can see we have adapted our set to have our own version of "Picture Picture", a feature from the long-running and very beloved children's PBS series "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood". But this friendly greeting is just the calm before today's storm because I have to tell you, with 9 episodes in the books, we have had some really wild and crazy happenings take place both during our main game and especially our Pot Limit end game. In spite of the fact that he has suffered a couple of heart-breaking busts at that Pot Limit end game, our 4 day champion is still just north of $50,000 and if he plays well enough today, he'll be guaranteed another $25,000 as that's a bonus cash prize that we award any player who can defeat 5 consecutive opponents. Here he is, with $50,300 total thus far, George Cluster! (applause) And George I must give you credit, you definitely continue to go for broke in the Pot Limit end game. Who knows, this could be the day you do it. We will find out in just a moment. Your challenger who is back with us for his second visit is Mr. Bryan Law! (applause) Bryan welcome in once again and good luck as you are going up against quite a fine champion. We are introducing a couple of new features to the front game starting today and we'll talk about those in just a moment. But first, the nicest feature of our show is our lovely dealer, good morning Witney Carson! (applause) Witney: Good morning Bill, good morning everybody! Good morning George and Bryan, and good luck! We play the best two out of three game match and we play with two decks of 52 playing cards, one deck during game one, and the other deck during game two and if necessary game three of our match. George, as returning champion, you get to select which deck we'll play with here in game one. Bryan, as the challenger, I'll ask you to please give me a number higher than 0 but lower than 52 to cut the cards.

Thank you gents. The deck has been selected and cut. Now then, for our first new change to the front game. Feast your eyes on this gameboard. There are money cards under all 20 of these spaces ranging from $125 all the way up to $250. Our players now are going to determine the value of each hand. The returning champion gets to select our first space. George, please select one of the 5 letters in SPLIT along with one of those 4 suits to determine the value of our first hand.

Players this first hand is worth $175 to the winner. First card up is... A 3, making this first toss-up puzzle worth $50. That chart, along with the first card for each hand during the first two games of the match will determine the value of the toss up puzzle. I am looking for an 8 letter word, starting with C, that connects the split... Regardless of whether you know it for certain or not, if you make a correct answer or guess, it counts just the same. And in this case your guess was absolutely right George! Fruit Cocktail usually is sold in supermarkets as a canned good, and Cocktail Hour is usually a time period before a main reception at a wedding, and also bars and pubs usually have a cocktail hour too. The first $50 of the day is yours George as well as control of that 3. You can keep it, pass it to Bryan or place it in the center, with the idea of wanting to create as large a split for yourself while at the same time if possible, giving your opponent as narrow a split as possible. Where would you like to place that 3 George?

And a reminder too for our players as well as any new viewers of the game, just like on Card Sharks, in this game Ace is always high and 2 (Deuce) is always low. So now the next card for George to place shall be... A KING! Where do you want to place that George, in the center spot or pass it to Bryan?

Which means Bryan will get this next card which is... An Ace! George was paying close attention to me just now, he has a very wide split from a 3 all the way up to a King, while Bryan's got what we call a tight squeeze, only another King or another Ace will win him this first hand. Now to determine who will win control of the next card, we play a different mini game, a Hi Lo Toss-Up. And since George is currently in control, George will get to play this first. Up on the board are 13 numbered boxes, the cards 2 through Ace appear and each one is there only once. George, I will ask you to select a pair of those boxes and call out the numbers in the order in which you want those to be revealed. We will reveal George's first pick. If it happens to be an Ace or a 2, he will automatically keep control of the hand. If any other card turns up, George will have the option to predict whether the card attached to the second box he chooses will be higher or lower than the first card revealed OR, if it's too difficult a decision, George will have the option to pass and force Bryan to make that call instead. Lastly George, if the very first box you reveal is the Ace, not only will you keep control of the hand, but you'll receive a $500 bonus as well. It's happened two shows in a row, let's see if you can do it again. Please pick a pair of numbers George.

Also the number of picks for Pot Limit hands will be determined by our Hi Lo Toss Up Board. The first three hands during game one of the match, the next three hands during game two. The first hand of Pot Limit today will be worth 3 picks to the champion. Now let us see what card is attached to #7 please. A King. So now George you will have to decide if card 13 is higher or lower than that King, or you can pass and have Bryan make that prediction if you so choose. What's your pleasure George?

This comes as no surprise to me at all George. To keep control of the hand, card 13 has to be lower than a King. And card 13 this time is... A 5, much lower indeed. George, if you keep the next card, only a 2 or an Ace will lose for you. If you pass it to Bryan, only another King or another Ace will win this hand for him. So do you wish to keep the card yourself, or pass it to try to bust Bryan?

Keeping the card yourself. And the card is a... Fit! You win the first hand George! (applause) www.dougmorris.net/chain/sfxding.mp3(main theme) George has taken the first hand of game one, but there's a lot more game to go. First player to win 3 hands takes one game. And we'll be back to find out who wins that first game, right after we split for a few words of interest. Please do stay tuned!

(fade into applause for the start of segment #2) After one hand of play, George, our 4 day champion who is playing for a $25,000 bonus if he wins today's match, leads one hand to zero. You may have noticed the words "CLEAN SWEEP" below each player's podium when we started, and now it is just with George. This is because if any player wins either of the first two games of the match 3 hands to 0, that is a Clean Sweep, and that player will receive a $500 bonus for doing so as it's not too easy to do. And we are very proud to have a new sponsor for our Clean Sweep Jackpot. From Bissell comes the cordless sweeper for your home use, it's as effective on carpeted areas as it is on hard wood or tile flooring. It's energy efficient and is easy to use and is portable and very easy to store away. Bissell is now home to a deep clean, and is now at home here on Split Decision as well. And one member of our studio audience will receive this as a gift before they depart today, so they will be able to make a clean getaway! George, you won the last hand so you will get to make the next selection to determine the value of our next hand. Please select a letter and a suit George.

And coincidentally, $175 again. I should point out on this board there are 4 each of $125, $150 and $175 money cards. There are 3 $200 money cards, 2 $225 and 3 $250. Now the first card for our next hand please Witney. It is a 10, meaning that this next toss-up puzzle is worth $25. This time I need a 5 letter word, starting with "Y" that connects the split...
