(ASB cue plays; audience applauds) George, you've just won another game with total cash winnings of $8050. But I know you'd love to win more. You can with these medals. George, we've split each medal in half and now cover up the medals. (chime sfx)...with these lucky numbers. George, here in the main event, only combinations count. In other words, if you rolled a 9, you can't take the 4 and 5; you'd have to take half of the silver medal that the 9 is currently hiding. And each time your roll's combination equals one of the lucky numbers, you collect the half medal behind that number. Collect both halves of a particular medal, and you may trade it in for a prize. The diamond necklace is back because you came away empty-handed in the last main event. Collect both parts of the bronze medal, and you'll win a gift card from Service Merchandise valued at $8500 -- with which you may claim that diamond necklace. The silver medal represents our special game. And today, it's the Lucky Numbers debut of It Takes Two. Roll a certain lucky number twice in that game -- and you'll win up to $50,000 in cash. (audience cheers) (prize music)For the gold medal, Bill, please refresh my memory. That prize included horsepower, a steering wheel, and more, right? Bill: It sure did, Doug. George, it still does. Put together both halves of the gold medal and you win -- a new car! (audience cheers)The BMW M440i xDrive Coupe comes with a three-liter engine, eight-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, its own WiFi hotspot, and much more. This amazing ride is worth $66,535. So far, the potential value of the main event is $125,035.Thanks, Bill. George, as you know, that's just the beginning. If you're fortunate to collect all three medals, you'll win the car, the gift card, the chance to play It Takes Two, *and* our cash jackpot of... (drum beats; cha-ching)...$170,000. (audience cheers) And remember, you can build up the jackpot as we play. Any roll of 2, 3, 11, or 12 is wild. That means we add $5000 to the pot -- and we give you the power to take any half medal. But when one lucky number remains, you must come up with a natural combination in a maximum of five attempts. Any roll of 7 however puts the main event... (danger zone cue; lights briefly flicker in certain parts of studio)...in the danger zone. That means any half medals you've collected will be at risk. The next roll of 7 means you end the main event with nothing. So at certain intervals I'll give you a chance to stop. (Doug hands dice to George) I wish you much better luck in this session of the main event than the last. By the way, is anyone here to wish you good luck today?

(audience cheers)The titans are all here. Nice to have you here. George, if you're fortunate enough to clean house, you could go on to win more than $290,000 in cash and merchandise. Good luck and off you go. (audience cheers as...) (George rolls)Great start! A 10! (chime sfx)Just need a 4 for the car. A wild roll can help. Roll again, please. (audience cheers as...) (George rolls) (danger zone cue; lights briefly flicker in certain parts of studio)That's -- not a 4. Suddenly, George, you're a real master of your fate. The next roll of 7 loses everything. Thing is you don't have much to risk -- just half a gold medal. So I'll let you stop now and trade in that half a medal for $1000. That would bring your cash total to over 9000 dollars. (pause) I guess with the teen titans, they didn't want to roll that clip from the other franchise. (scattered laughter from crowd) All kidding aside, you may take $1000 cash -- or give it back and keep rolling. If you decide to play on, you must continue to roll until you complete a medal -- and of course you're halfway to winning that new car. So what say -- take the grand or keep rolling? (audience, and titans, shout suggestions)

(audience cheers)Had a hunch the $1000 was coming back to the house. Okay, George, a 4 or a wild roll would really hit the spot now. (audience cheers as...) (George rolls)(buzz; PQA25 "wonk wonk" cue play; audience groans) I don't believe this! George -- this has to be one of the fastest main event losses ever -- three rolls of the dice. But -- I tell ya what. We've got the time to spare. And I've got an idea that I think even the titans will approve.

(ASB cue plays; audience applauds) Welcome back to Lucky Numbers. George quickly got half a gold medal in the main event -- and then lost it just about as fast with two consecutive unlucky rolls of 7. George, since we have some time to spare, we're going to let you play the consolation version of It Takes Two. Now behind those lucky numbers are cash awards. One of them hides $5000. Lesser amounts are behind the remaining numbers. To reveal an amount, all you have to do is roll a number with one of the dice. Then to end the game and claim that number, all you have to do is repeat the roll of that number. Which of the dice would you like to play with -- first or second?

Okay, I'll take the second. You take the first. Let's see if you can roll the number that hides $5000. (audience cheers as George rolls) Starting with a 3. What's behind 3? (chime sfx)$250. Well, if you roll another 3, you'll end the game with $250. But let's see if you can roll a differet number. (audience cheers as George rolls) There's a 2. Does 2 hide $5000? (chime sfx)No -- a better prize, though. $750. Let's find that $5000 on this next roll. (audience cheers as George rolls) (ASB win cue plays; scattered applause) It's another 3; you win $250 more. Well -- better than nothing. But where was the $5000? The 5. If you rolled a 5 twice, you'd win $5000 more. But you do have total cash winnings of $8300. (audience cheers)And you're still the champion. This means you'll play again. If you win the next main game, you'll try to win the jewelry, the car, and a lot of cash in the main event. Sound good?

Indeed. And if you win that game, you'll be back here at the main event... ...maybe you'll get to play It Takes Two for higher stakes. But if you clean house, quarter of a million in cash and prizes -- possibly more. Friends, please join us next time and see if George wins Game 3 -- and if the third time's the charm here in the main event. 'Til then, make it a great day, keep the faith, and treasure your loved ones. (closing theme plays; audience applause) Bill: This has been a Merrill Heatter Production -- in association with Century Towers.
