Looking for a roll of a 7 and not a 5... Another correct prediction Bryan! You've earned another card. We need this to be a 3 to a 6. Anything above a 6 and David becomes the new champion. The card is... (BUZZ) TOO MUCH! And the Match goes to David! (win cue) And another $1,000 pot won by our new champion David. Back to him in a moment. Well Bryan, the luck of the cards pretty much proved the great equalizer in this match today. You did pick up $500 along the way, added to your previous winnings, you're leaving us with a grand total of... $3,425 in cash! A very nice hand for our outgoing champion, Brian Law! David, you played very well, freezing at the right times in both games and you already have over $2,000 to show for your efforts. We'll take a time out and when we return, David will take on the Gambit Board for a chance at thousands more! More after these words of interest!

We are back with David Barkow, our new Las Vegas Gambit champion.
We're about to play the Gambit Board, and after you cut the cards David, I have a special announcement to make.
We have a new deck of 54 cards, the basic 52 plus 2 Jokers in the mix. Any time a Joker turns up, you'll get to make another selection from the Gambit Board right away.
Please select a number higher than 0 but lower than 54 to cut the cards David.

You will notice that if you score 21 in any combination during this round, we'll pay you $5,000, and if you get a 2 card 21, also known as a "Blackjack", another $10,000 will go to you. Now then there are other cash awards up on the board. There are also six numbers hiding cards that will be a multiplier, and I will explain those when we get them. One is a RANDOM CASH square and that can add anywhere from $1,250 all the way up to $5,000 into your betting bank. There is one Power Chip on the board, and that can be used in one of two different ways, and finally a HALF & HALF card. If you beat the house here at the Gambit board while having the HALF & HALF card in your possession, or if you get 21 in any combination, you will play HALF & HALF for a possible $25,000 cash bonus or for a new luxury automobile! But, and this is new, regardless of how you do here at the Gambit Board, even if you lose, you'll still get to play HALF & HALF, but for a top prize of $5,000 in cash. Remember if you score 21 exactly, you will automatically win either $5,000 or $10,000 depending on how fast, plus any money in your betting bank will also be doubled immediately. If you get any score between 12 and 20, you'll have the option to freeze at that point and then you'll have to wager at least half of your betting bank. If you go over 21, you will lose EVERYTHING in your betting bank, and the game will be over. If your hands beats the house, or if the house goes over 21, you'll have your wager added, if the house beats your hand, the wager is subtracted. If it's a tie, it will simply be a push. The house will always hit on 16 and below and must stop once it gets to 17 in ANY combination, that includes a "soft" 17 which would be an Ace and a 6 for example. David, if you haven't any questions, please pick a number.

Chicken Legs 11... (ding) Oh that's a really nice one to get David! We will multiply the value of your next card by $500 and deposit it into your betting bank. Aces will always count as 11 for multiplying any money amount, even if the Ace has to be counted as 1 for your actual score. Alexis, please reveal the card: A Jack! Worth 10, so $5,000 into your betting bank right away! Let's have another number please David.

And 15 has... $1,250 more. Betting bank is now up to $6,250. If this next card happens to be an Ace, that will automatically double to $12,500 plus you'll win another $10,000 on top of that. Is it an Ace for a huge win? No, however you do have a 10! Up to 20 now. I'm going to go out on a limb and say you'll wish to freeze right there, yes?

Freeze

Post by billmcdee on Jun 19, 2023 5:32:52 GMT -5
You have frozen at 20. The only way the house can beat you now is if it gets cards totaling 21. The house must stand once it gets to 17 or more. David you must now wager at least $3,125, but you may wager anything from $3,125 up to $6,250. If your hand beats the house, or if the house ends up going over 21, we will add the amount of your wager to your total. If the house gets 21, we will subtract the amount of your wager from your total. Finally, if the house gets to 20 also, it is a push, so you will neither win nor lose your wager. David, how confident are you that your 20 will beat the house's hand? What is your wager please?

ALL of it! This could mean $12,500 for you David! Let's hope so. Alexis will now start dealing cards for the house's hand. First up... An itty bitty deuce! Next card please Alexis... A QUEEN! Now the house has 12 and is vulnerable to go over 21! If the next card is a ten or a face card David, you'll win $12,500! We do NOT want a 9! (Chuckling) Another two! Up to 14 now... We want an 8 or better on this next card, for $12,500! (Gasps from the audience)... We have to make that worth 1. Will David beat the house? Tune in tomorrow and... Next card is... WHEW! A 4! And David you WIN!!!!! (Wild cheering & applause) (win cue) (DING) Sweet mercy David, I was really sweating it there for you! $12,500 is yours and when we return, David will play HALF & HALF for more icing on the cake...$5,000 possibly, after these words!

(applause) We are back with David Barkow, the new Las Vegas Gambit champion, over $14,000 in cash won already and now a chance to add $5,000 more playing HALF & HALF. David, behind one of the letters in GAMBIT is a $50 money card. Behind two more of the letters is a single zero. Behind 1 is a double zero. Behind one is a 20 times multiplier, and behind one is a blank. You will select any 2 letters you wish. The idea is to combine the $50 money card with the double zero, for $5,000. Combine it with a single zero and it's $500. Combine the $50 with the 20 times card and it will mean $1,000 for you. Please select any two letters you wish David and good luck trying to add another $5,000 for today!

Under the B today we have... A single zero. If the $50 is hiding under the G, it will mean $500 more to you David. And it is... A blank. So no added bonus money there BUT, $12,500 at the Gambit Board coupled with your front game winnings, gives you a nice one day total OF... $14,575 in cash! And best of all you'll be back tomorrow to take on a new challenger. Well friends, 3 episodes, 3 different champions, proving just how fickle Lady Luck can be!
