And this show launches on Monday as well! I had a lot of fun hosting the pilot, and am eager to get this show on the road. But before we do, I need just 2 people who's ready to solve puzzles, roll some dice, and win some money.
The only thing I changed was the stakes. I upped the prize money in pretty much every aspect of the show, as I felt the winning scores were too low for primetime.
So...who wants in?

(Opening theme)
Steve Higgins: From the Sony Pictures Studios in Hollywood! A roll of the dice can win you over... $25,000 in cold hard cash! And all you have to do is guess 6 letter words?! Sounds like fun! My question to you is...
Word you Like to Solve the Puzzle?
*cheers*
2 players can solve puzzles and get their way on a road to riches, but they have to have a bit of luck on our side! Here's the man with more details, the star of our show...Immanuel Tims!
*more cheers*
That's me! Hello folks and welcome to the network premiere of Word You Like to Solve right here on ABC! We've got 2 players ready to battle it out for the chance to win over $25,000 in cold, hard, cash...and all they have to do is solve puzzles. Sounds fun to me, let's see if our players agree! Please welcome...
George Cluster and Nels Snesrud!
*cheers*
Gentlemen, I welcome you to tonight's festivities. George, please tell the folks at home a little about yourself if you don't mind!

Well, I am from Spartanburg, SC. I enjoy playing Mahjong, doing word seeks, and sing. When I ain't doing those 3 things, I listen to news themes across the USA, 80s music, and watching game shows and sitcoms that have a game show plot.

Well bowling's fun! Here's to you winning a lot of loot today. If we're all ready...let's play our game: *puzzle cue* All of our puzzles, whether they be tossups or regular, are 6 letters long...no more, no less. The object of the game is to solve as many puzzles as you can, as they can be used to your advantage. For this first main puzzle, the clue is "Most people find it hard to swallow". The player who wins each tossup gets a crack at the main puzzle by rolling a pair of dice, one regular die, and another that has dollar amounts that reach up to $1,500 this round!
But before we get to the main business, let's talk tossups:
Each letter in a typical 6 letter word is revealed letter by letter. The player keeps calling for letters until they feel that they know the puzzle, to which they can solve. For this round, if you solve the puzzle, you win $200 for each letter you didn't call on.
Now here comes the challenge: your opponent will mark on their podium how many letters you can call in each tossup...we call those "credits". If a player calls for more letters than their opponent said they can call, we call that exceeding your credits, and you lose your turn.
And of course, the player at the lead of the match after 3 rounds goes on to Bonus Land for the chance to win $25,000!
*cheers*
Good luck fellas. For our opening round, George will serve as the setter and Nels is the guesser, meaning George will set the number of credits Nels can use. George, watch your inbox please!

*ding* Nels, the credits have been set. Here's the first letter: An L. Here's your clue... WHAT POLES DO OUTSIDE OF BUSINESSES.
If you know it, you can solve it right now, or you can call for a letter, and remember you cannot exceed your credit count. Do you need a letter do you wanna solve?

You got it! *ding ding ding, applause* $600 for you, let's get another look at the first main puzzle of the night: There it is again. Now, here's the dice. There's a regular die, 1 through 6, and a money die that has cash values of $250, $500, $750, $1,000, and $1,500!
*audience oohs, applause*
You get two rolls. The regular die reveals that space in the puzzle, and the money die adds money to the pot, obviously.
Good luck, take the dice...and roll 'em!
(Nels, I need a number 1 through 36 to simulate a dice roll)

Nels, we're all ready. Here's the clue for this word:
IT HAS MADE SOME FEEL OUT OF THIS WORLD.
Remember to not exceed your credit limit. When you're ready, you can either call for a letter or solve it.
