That's right, Bryan.
Now that we're here at The Warner Bros. Studios, I would like to say a very special thanks to the guys over at Television City Studios for bringing the new design right here. Right, Doug?

In that case, let the games begin. (audience cheers) (Doug and Tony fist bump; Tony walks over to lower left seat on panel; Doug walks over to MG players' area) And please keep cheering for our challengers, George Cluster and Kourtney Wilson. (audience cheers) Let's get acquainted before we begin the game. George, please tell us about yourself.

Well, I am from Spartanburg, SC. I play mahjong for over 10 years for fun, do word seeks, and listen to music mainly 80s. My favorite singer is a tie between Prince, Bon Jovi, and Michael Jackson. I also love to sing. I will be 35 years old in December. I must say I love all game and reality shows the same except Fear Factor. I hate that show so much. Match Game is in my top 5 list as my favorites.

Well, you're about to play a top-five favorite. And if you win, I hope Hollywood Squares also makes the top five.
Good luck today. Kourtney, good luck to you as well. Please tell us about yourself.

All right, we've got Georgia versus South Carolina in Match Game -- where you'll have three chances to match as many... ...of these recruits from Zombie Patrol as you possibly can. (scattered laughter from crowd) Each match awards a crisp new $100 bill. Perfect score pays $400. Winning Match Game awards $500. Winner here goes to Hollywood Squares. The winner there rejoins me for the Super Match for a possible $100,000. (audience cheers)Again, good luck to everyone. George, you won the right to go first. Would you like to start with Question A or Question B?

My gut is telling me A so I choose A. By the way, Georgia and South Carolina are rivals in college football.

A it is in this SEC version of Match Game and away we go. New game, so obviously, everyone on the panel plays this one. Jane Lynch said, "We had a field day when Dumb Dora was a contestant on 'The Weakest Link'. I asked her to identify what the B&O stood for in Monopoly's B&O Railroad. Instead of 'Baltimore and Ohio', she said, 'BLANK and BLANK.'" (audience laughs and applauds) (think music plays)That's not a question. That's a book!

All right, George, they're all ready. I'll repeat the question. Then we'll need your response. Jane Lynch said, "We had a field day when Dumb Dora was a contestant on 'The Weakest Link'. I asked her to identify what the B&O stood for in Monopoly's B&O Railroad. Instead of 'Baltimore and Ohio', she said, 'BLANK and BLANK.'"

(audience laughs and applauds)Doug: Inside the mind of Dumb Dora. Makes sense. Let's see if someone on the panel thought just as logically -- starting with Clara. Clara: (card) (buzz) (scattered groans) Doug: I can just see Jane asking this question. Since when did "Ernie" start with an "O"? Anyhoo, Lainey, over to you. Lainey: I Hope this audience will appreciate this answer (ding; audience applause) Doug: George appreciates it -- because that gives us the first match in the game. Mark, do you provide the second? Mark: I think Dumb Dora had too much Sesame Street on the brain. (buzz) (scattered groans) Doug: Again -- since when did "Ernie" start with an "O"? *Oh* well. Let's visit Tony. Jane Lynch said, "We had a field day when Dumb Dora was a contestant on 'The Weakest Link'. I asked her to identify what the B&O stood for in Monopoly's B&O Railroad. Instead of 'Baltimore and Ohio', she said, 'BLANK and BLANK.'"Doug: And George filled 'em in with "body" and "odor". Tony: (as Bill Clinton) I dedicate my answer to my two homeboys from the hood. (card) (buzz) (scattered cheers)Doug: See, that's logical. And a good answer no matter your politics as we go to Steven. Steven: (card) (buzz) (scattered cheers)Doug: More Biden, more Obama. But we're looking for body odor as we wrap up this half of the round with Bryan. Bryan: (card) (buzz) (mixed reactions from crowd) Doug: Well -- Bryan is sitting in the Patti Deutsch chair. Stands to reason Bryan would give us a Patti-style answer. Doug: George, you've got $100. Kourtney, your chance to come to bat comes shortly.

And the dandy half dozen's all set. Kourtney, let's see if you can draw even or take the lead. Jennifer said to the doctor, "I hope you can help me. I swallowed a watermelon seed and now my BLANK suddenly got bigger."

(scattered reactions from crowd) Doug: It only seems like a logical answer. But then again, this is Match Game. Clara, how did you complete this? Clara: I Thought this show was x rated (buzz) (audience cheers)Doug: That's Match Game logic. Melons -- boobs. But, ya never know. A stomach might appear. (scattered laughter from crowd) I know, poor choice of words. Lainey? Lainey: Here's my response to this question. (buzz) (more cheers) Doug: More boobs. Mark, what came to your mind? Mark: (card) (buzz) (more cheers) Doug: Boobs seems to be the answer. And since you got Gilbert reactions from downstairs, I got a bad feeling about this. But we'll go through the motions. Jennifer said to the doctor, "I hope you can help me. I swallowed a watermelon seed and now my BLANK suddenly got bigger."Doug: Tony, what say ye? Tony: As long as this question is rated PG-- (looks up) Thank you, hey Zeus. Anyhow, Jennifer is gonna be a star so my obvious answer is... *shows card* (buzz) (more cheers) Tony: I'll be here 9 to 5, folks! Doug: Four boobs, or eight as the case may be so far. Steven? Steven: Clara don't hurt me (buzz) (audience laughs and cheers as Clara gets her purse) Doug: Before we have a "Jerry Springer" moment, Bryan, wrap this up for us. Bryan: She going to need a bigger bra... (buzz) (more cheers) Doug: Ah, could've run the table on one question. Doug: Nevertheless, the game's young with George leading $100 to nil. Come back for Round 2 right after this. (audience applause; MG-HSH music plays)

(audience cheers)Welcome back to Round 2 of Match Game. Kourtney's looking to make a comeback. But, George, since you're leading, you'll start by picking Question A or Question B.
|
|
|
Post by bighornbattle on May 14, 2023 20:00:10 GMT -5
Well, I do a pattern when I play Match Game at other people's home. On odd number rounds I do the A question first but when it is even like this I go to B question. If I do a 3rd question I flip a coin on that if needed.

|
|
Post by bighornbattle on May 14, 2023 20:00:43 GMT -5
I choose B.
|
|
|
Post by dougmorrisontheair on May 14, 2023 21:06:55 GMT -5
Going with B this time -- and not going with B on the panel... ...is Lainey -- since Lainey matched George in Round 1. For everyone else on the panel, please respond to this. The baseball manager said, "No wonder our team's losing. The players wear their gloves on their BLANK." (audience laughs and applauds) (think music plays)
