Press Your Luck 2023 - Episode 12 - COMPLETE!

Yes, the wait is over! Press Your Luck is back for Episode 12, and just in time for the Final Episode in CBS Television City!

Not the entire series, mind you. Only in Television City before moving to our new location. Also, in case you didn't notice yet...



We're also about to reach the end of an era: The Ash Ketchum era of Pokémon, so this episode will be dedicated to this very show. And since we've skipped 2022 (and for personal reasons), some notes are in order.

1. The Whammy's Bank is at $846,795.
2. Immanuel Tims is our champion with $105,500.
3. In order to claim the Whammy's Bank now, you have to play the Press Your Luck 2019 Bonus Round, which is made up in 5 stages, but this time, the concept is as follows:

i. Stage 1 - $10,000 - 5 Spins + 1 Additional Spin for every $10,000 won from Main Game
ii. Stage 2 - $25,000 - 5 Spins
iii. Stage 3 - $50,000 - 4 Spins
iv. Stage 4 - $75,000 - 3 Spins
v. Stage 5 (Final Stage/Big Bucks Bonanza) - $100,000 - 3 Spins

And hello to you all, and yes, we are back, and just in time, too, because as this is the 12th episode of Press Your Luck and the final episode inside the famous CBS Television City building, and don't panic. This is NOT the final episode of the series. This is the final episode inside this building, because when we air on our next show, it'll be at a new location, and we'll tell you more about it when we get word of it.

But anyways, in the words of the late Bruce Forsyth, it's nice to see you, to see you...

I'm a high school senior from Los Angeles, and I love to act whenever I get the chance!

In my spare time, I love writing, in fact I've a script in the works right now, watching movies and stand up specials, board games, hanging out with friends, and of course...watching game shows!

So you got a script in progress! Do you mind telling us what's it about?

Not at all! I've completed my first ever script called "What's in a Cup?", that I'm super proud of...and I'm now writing another script sort of in honor of my late friend, called "Sweetheart"

So what's "What's in a Cup?" all about?

[babytims]

Literally...it centers around a coffee cup, and the way a man is attached to it.

The man's also very simple, and he and his wife clash at points because of his simplistic lifestyle, and her wanting to break free of simplicity.

Sort of an A plot, B plot type of play

Well, we certainly have got a BIG episode for you tonight, and we'll see all of that as we go along, and now that we've met our players, it's time to meet our big star of the show: It's the Big Board!









As the board spins, let me tell you how the game works. This game is played in two rounds, in which they each consist of two halves: The Question Round and the Big Board Round. First, I'll be asking a series of four questions, and if necessary, the "Big Spin Bonus" question in the first half of the round, and I hope you give me some good answers. The first player who can get the closest to my Magic Number between 1-100 will get to buzz in and answer the question. And then, that answer becomes one of three choices for the remaining 2 players. A correct buzz-in answer will give you 3 spins, and a correct multiple-choice answer will earn you 1 spin. Should we get less than 20 spins (aka A Perfect Question Round) after the 4 questions, the "Big Spin Bonus" question will be asked, which is a Multiple-Answer question, and only one of you will have a chance to buzz-in, and give me the number of correct answers. If you can successfully do that, then you'll head to our special "Spin Board" for a chance to pick up even more spins. However, if you cannot give me enough correct answers to that question, then your opponents automatically get 2 spins. The more spins you have, the more money you could make (or break) at the second half of the round: The Big Board. And the Big Board itself is now computerized and it's filled with hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash and prizes. And anytime you stop the board like this....

If you land on him, and he will take away all of the cash and prizes that you have earned up to that point, and if you get 4 of those, you WILL be sorry, because you'll be knocked out of the game.

Now, the player at the end of the game that's earned the most money is our champion, and will also earn the right to play the Big Bonus Board for hundreds of thousands of dollars in cold hard cash, AND the right to come back and do it all over again.
