So as I've been doing for almost the past nine years, I don't just host Wheel of Fortune with the same style as the year in focus, I've been posting friendly reminders of the trends of the time. This being 2000, direct to video sequels were all the rage. What better way to cash in on the success of a movie by making a sequel?
Vanna: Not all of them were cash-ins, though.
Me: You're right. My favorite Pixar film is actually a sequel: Toy Story 2.
Vanna: No kidding.
Me: That's right. We'll see you in 2001, everybody!
