We are back for the exciting conclusion of the premiere episode of 41! I am here with our first-ever champion Immanuel Tims and Immanuel, you have certainly had a nice day already, haven't you?! Not only did you sweep away Nels in a four to nothing shutout, but you have racked up over eleven thousand dollars in cash so far! - (audience cheers and applauds) - Now, you have a chance to make that total be more than fifty thousand dollars! - (audience cheers and applauds) - Are you ready to play?

Fantastic! Well, the bonus round plays out basically the same as the regular rounds, with slight changes here and there.
The idea is still to make a 5-card hand in a single suit or a double suit if you are fortunate enough to begin by picking a pair. Since you have no opponent now, you are playing against the house rules which in this case are you can stay on a hand of 35 or above, but you must continue to draw on a hand of 34 or less. This time around, you can use all 28 cards, two at a time, to build your hands and this time, I guarantee you that there are two Joker cards up there somewhere. Keep in mind though, like the regular rounds, a hand that totals more than 41 is a bust.
We will pay you $100 per point scored for a completed hand, unless you can achieve two things. If you can complete three hands that pay out and one of them, either the first, second or third, is a perfect hand of 41, in that case, instead of a hundred bucks a point, you win forty-one thousand dollars!! - (audience cheers and applauds) -
One other change is that you have complete control over your hand, meaning you can throw out any cards you have at any point and start over if you like. So, for example, let's say you started with the Jack of Hearts and 5 of Clubs and you keep the Jack to make Hearts your suit to build on, but then on your next selection of two cards, you find the Queen and King of Diamonds. In that case, you could discard the Jack in your hand, take the Queen and King and build on Diamonds instead.
Each time you complete a hand that pays out, you'll have a decision to make -- stop and take the money or risk it and play on. If you play on, you must complete another hand that pays out before you run out of cards, otherwise you win absolutely nothing in the Bonus Round.
Any questions on all that Immanuel? If not, select your first two numbers and let's get after that forty-one grand, shall we?

Very well, we're hoping for a pair here, what do those two cards give us?
(ding...ding)
The three of hearts and four of clubs. Not great cards to start with Immanuel, but as indicated, you can perhaps replace them as we go along here. For now though, you do have to choose one of them as your suit to build upon, so which would you like?

I like how this hand is shaping up! If you can find some face card hearts and maybe a Joker or two, you could put that perfect hand of 41 to bed right off the bat! Where to next Immanuel?

Alright, looking for some more hearts, have we got any with those two selections?
(ding...ding)
Oh boy, do we ever! I won't even ask Immanuel!
(ding)
Keep it going! Where to next?

We want more hearts, have we got any?
(ding...ding)
Oh my goodness! Yes!! Wait a minute, are you peeking under these cards or something Immanuel? - (audience chuckles) -
(ding)
I'm kidding of course! So here's the situation -- I don't know if the Jack and Queen of Hearts is on the board or not, but there are definitely two Joker cards up there somewhere. If you can find one of them now, you'll automatically have 41 here. It would be great to get that out of the way first because then you'd need just two more regular hands of 35 or better to win the forty-one grand!
Let's find a Joker Immanuel! Which two numbers this time please?

We're looking for a Joker ideally -- what do we find with those numbers?
(ding...ding)
Well, we find a heart but one that is useless to you. If you took that, it would complete your hand with 33 showing which is not enough to pay. So, on we go Immanuel.

Those cards reveal
(ding...ding)
a pair of spades. No help there either. O Joker, where art thou? Try again Immanuel.

Cards 21 and 22 are
(ding...ding)
a Spade and a Diamond. Boy oh boy, you were hot there for a while, but now you can't find the card you need to save your life! Fingers crossed, let's find a Joker Immanuel.

Okay, still hoping for a Joker or Face Card Heart under one of those numbers.
(ding...ding)
Still not there! This is unfortunate Immanuel, not only can you not find the Joker right now, but you are tearing into cards for the other two hands as well. Try again please.

2 and 9 are
(ding...ding)
a Spade AND A JOKER!!!! - (audience cheers and applauds) -
(ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding)
Well, that certainly went from being a breeze to being a struggle in a hurry, didn't it! The good news is that we finally have our first perfect hand of 41. Ironically, there is no extra bonus for it here in the Bonus Round, but you did get the maximum payout of $4,100 for that hand! - (audience applauds) -
The bad news is you burned through a lot of cards to get there and you only have ten remaining. So, it seems winning forty-one thousand is going to elude you this time around, but you might be able to come up with at least one more hand out of those 10 cards. Keep in mind there is still one Joker card amongst those 10 somewhere. Keep in mind also that if you don't come up with a hand of at least 35 using those ten cards, you wind up with nothing for the Bonus Round.
So, what you do say Immanuel? Are you happy with forty-one hundred dollars for your bonus amount or are you willing to risk it and take a shot at potentially doubling that total?

I can't say as I blame you, but I am curious whether or not there was a paying hand amongst those remaining cards, so let's see them all please.
(ding...ding...ding...ding...ding...ding...ding...ding...ding...ding)
Oh bummer Immanuel, look at that! There was another hand of 41 for the taking using those clubs and that Joker!
- (theme begins to play with audience applause) - That's okay though, you've picked up another four thousand one hundred dollars here in the Bonus Round! - (audience applauds) -
We'll be back to total it all up when 41 continues after these messages! - (continued theme and applause; fade to commercials) -

We are back to wrap things up here on this episode of 41! I am here with our champ Immanuel Tims who has done quite well today. He dominated the regular rounds, winning the game with four hands in a row. He started off hot in the Bonus Round too but cooled off a bit while struggling to complete that first hand. He did it though and in fine fashion I might add, achieving a perfect hand of 41 when he eventually found that Joker.
Immanuel, all together today when you include the more than eleven grand you won in the Regular Rounds and the forty-one hundred from the Bonus Round, you have a total of
fifteen thousand seven hundred thirty dollars!!! - (audience cheers and applauds) - You've had a good run on this show Immanuel and I hope you enjoyed yourself!
