No I am so sorry Nels...  While the Detroit Tigers are correct, the current version of the Baltimore Orioles had been the St. Louis Browns previously until 1953. The other three American League teams who have represented the same city going all the way back to 1901 are the Cleveland Guardians (would have also accepted Indians), the Boston Red Sox and the Chicago White Sox. Incidentally, the other 3 original American League teams. the New York Yankees began as the first Baltimore Orioles from 1901-02, the Oakland Athletics began in Philadelphia, then moved to Kansas City, and lastly the Minnesota Twins were the first version of the Washington Senators.
