This is the third and final pilot for the Family Feud: Seasons series. The pilot will preview the upcoming Challenge era, in which I bring back some of the previous champions from both the syndicated and network runs. Some of these rules will differ from what plays out in 1992 and later, so here they are:
In the intro, a sample question is asked, and the three best answers are revealed, with the third-best answer being revealed first, and the second-best next. I will reveal the top answer after I have been introduced.
In the first game, the winning family will play for a jackpot of up to $7,000. They will then play a third family in the second game.
The Bullseye round will now determine the bank for Fast Money; however, points are still converted to dollars in the main game. In the first game, it will start at $4,000, and $1,000 will be added for every hit. Instead of facing off, each family will play individually, in the order of their appearance.
In the second game, a Bullseye hit is worth $5,000, for a potential jackpot of $15,000. An amount to beat will be displayed, although all six players will still get the chance to answer a question.
Bullseye will be played at the beginning of the first game, and at the end of the second.
For the second game, all points scored in the main game will be multiplied by certain values. In the Single round, the multiple is $10, Double is worth $20, and Triple will award $30. If a successful steal occurs, the value of the stolen answer will be added to the winning family's bank.
All rounds in the first game are now in their own segments, including Double and Triple. The only exception is if neither family has reached $300, in which case a second Triple round will immediately follow. In the second game, the Double and Triple rounds are in the same segment.
Now let's see the pilot and how it was done:
(Participating families will be posted at a later time, so sit tight.)

Now it's time to get the show on the road! (1988 FF Open) ERIN HARRIS: Welcome to the new, one-hour Family Feud Challenge! What's the top answer to this question?
"What's the most important thing you need in the event of a power outage?"
The survey says the Number 3 answer is...clang! ...candles! The Number 2 answer is...clang! ...batteries! What is the Number 1 Bullseye answer?clang! You'll get the answer as we play The New Family Feud Challenge!(intro replays from beginning) Introducing the Liottas family: Mark, Kourtney and Danny, ready for action! Playing against the Ringgenberg family: Matt, Kevin and Nels! On your marks, let's try to hit the Bullseye answers for more than $25,000 on the one-hour edition of The New Family Feud Challenge! (1988 FF Theme) With the star of Family Feud, Bill Skinner!Hello, hello, hello! Welcome back, Liottas, and welcome back, Ringgenbergs. Thank you very much, and welcome to The New Family Feud Challenge, where we're bringing back some of the greatest families of all time. Earlier in the intro, we asked the question: "What's the most important thing you need in the event of a power outage?" If you guessed a flashlight, you got the Bullseye answer. Today, we've brought back the Liottas, who won $41,935 over five games from the Steve Harvey era, and the Ringgenbergs, winners of $40,000 over three games during the Richard Karn era. One of these two families will go on to face the current defending champions who are waiting in the wings, the Kolsens, who have a two-day total of $10,941! And during this half of the show, whoever wins the game will play Fast Money for at least $5,000. The second half will feature even higher stakes, so make sure you catch that part later on. Right now, let's try something new: We will try to build a big bank with our latest addition to the game, the Bullseye round! (Bullseye board lowers behind face-off podium, accompanied by a tinkling sound effect) We will start with the Liottas family, and this is how you build your bank: I will ask each of you a question, and then you tell me what you think the Bullseye answer is. If you succeed, then we will add $1,000 to your bank. First, we will give you a minimum bank of $4,000. dong! There it is, and now let's go for $7,000, starting with Mark. Here's your question, worth $1,000: Name the most important tool that is used by a carpenter.

Is the Bullseye answer a skunk? (strike buzzer) Sorry, that's not it, but this answer would've gotten you $6,000. dong!It was a bear. Your bank is set at $5,000, which is what you'll play for if you win the game. Now it's the Ringgenbergs' turn to play. We also start you off with $4,000 in your bank. dong!Matt, let's build your family's bank right now. Once again, we're adding $1,000 for every hit, and here's your question: Name a state that has lots of palm trees.

Is the Bullseye answer cotton? (strike buzzer) No, it's not, so your bank is still $5,000. Here's the Bullseye answer to the question; it was... dong!...wool. Nels, you get the last question for the Bullseye round, and one more chance to play for a $6,000 bank. Your question is: Name an event where you see fireworks.

For $6,000, did you hit the Bullseye with a Fourth of July parade? clang!(bells jangling) You got it, so if you win this game, you will play Fast Money for $6,000. dong!(1988 FF Commercial Cue, fiddle variant) When we come back, we'll play the Feud and find out who will play for their bank. Will the Liottas play for $5,000, or will the Ringgenbergs play for $6,000? The real fun will begin after this.

Welcome back! And now we're ready to see who plays Fast Money for their bank and advances to the championship match with the Kolsens. The Liottas have $5,000 in their bank, and the Ringgenbergs have $6,000. Who's going to win? Let's find out right now. Mark and Matt, it's time to play the Feud! (1988 FF Face-Off Cue, harmonica variant) And as usual, the first family to $300 wins the game and plays Fast Money for their respective bank. We asked 100 people this question, and the top seven answers are on the board; try to find the most popular answer. Name something a modern-day cowboy would call his most prized possession.
