We'll reveal seven first...
NFL jerseys. Those are still kicking around. We'll now show you 10...
No, a Waverunner. Turn those around.
Bill, where are you going next?

I remember that Waverunner was under 1, and the match at 10 please.

Take Nels out for a ride on that sometime, Bill. #1 first...
One Waverunner. Behind #10...
*dingdingding*
The other Waverunner! That goes on your side.
And two more parts of the rebus will show themselves.
What do you say here, Bill?

I say I don't know yet, let's see what's behind 22 please, Kevin.

*dingdingding*
Yes! There's another prize for you! Three prizes a piece.
You, however, have a chance to guess once 15 and 22 turn one more time.

Yes, they were! Another prize in your inventory.
Taken the lead prize-wise. You can claim them if you can solve with the extra help.

Is it "HOMESTAR RUNNER"?

Is it HOMESTAR RUNNER?
*bell sequence*
"Sewiously!" to borrow a catchphrase. You got it! And we'll talk about good things coming to those who wait in a moment. What did it for you, there?
|
|
|
Post by billmcdee on Oct 22, 2022 18:32:50 GMT -5
Well I was able to figure out the bottom part was RUNNER, and I knew the Star part...that's why I needed to expose a bit more in the upper left corner. I realized it was a picture of a house, but housestar made no sense to me, whereas Homestar did.

Between you and me, Random Home doesn't make too much sense as a publishing company. In this puzzle, the different meaning works. It got you the following. Debra?
Debra: A pair of officially licensed NFL Jerseys! One jersey for him, another for her. Choose from any of the 32 NFL teams, pick your own Jersey number and let your name and another be known that you're a fan. Direct from the manufacturer, say it loud and proud from the official NFL shop. Visit us at nflshop.com.
A trip to San Diego! You and a guest will fly round trip to San Diego and enjoy six nights at the Hotel Indigo, located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter. Enjoy all the sights, sounds and diversity of this bustling city. We've included a kayak tour, so you can explore the waterways surrounding the Marina and Coronado in style.
A Waverunner! The Yamaha Waverunner FX Cruiser offers all for those who don't want to sacrifice everything. It features the latest in powerboat technology, such as a high-vibrancy glass touchscreen with audio controls, smartphone connectivity and a built-in GPS. Also, feel the power of its 1.8-Liter engine with easy throttling from forward to neutral to reverse.
All those, plus a brass bed! Those prizes worth $31,644 combined with the $3,577 you won previously gives you a grand total of $35,221! Congratulations!
What a day for you, Bill. Your reign will continue on tomorrow's show. We'll take a quick break before we wrap up. Be right back!

Time to say goodbye here on Concentration. First, let's chat quickly with Bill McDee. What a day for you. Three games and $35,221 in winnings. How can you describe your experience with us?

Fun, challenging, not to mention quite profitable. I am very grateful to the show. And I must admit I benefited from a big break during game 3 when Nels uncovered the second half of that waverunner.
Game 1, with the Great Pumpkin, even I admit I was more than a bit floored when it was said it was correct!

And I was pretty floored as well. Nothing like exposing the right part of the rebus, plus its position greatly helped you. Nels, we must bid farewell to you because we allow challengers to play only twice. Did you have a good time here?

We'll see if you two can do that. It won't be on the next show, but it could be someday down the road. For now, this is Kevin Kolsen saying so long, fellas!
Debra: This is Debra Wilson speaking for Concentration. Concentration has been a production of the NBC television network!
