(bells jangling) Turn around. My first question was, name a mode of transportation that people refuse to ride because of fear. You said... blip!...an airplane, which sounds like a good answer. Our survey said... dong!...48. Off to a great start. Second question asked for a baseball player known to hit lots of home runs. You said... blip!...Mark McGwire, who was indeed a great slugger his entire career. Our survey said... dong!...14. Hmm, I thought he'd get more replies than that. Anyway, let's move on to the third question, a type of nut. You said... blip!...a peanut, which may not be a nut in the true sense, but is called one nonetheless, because after all, it has nut in its name. Our survey said... dong!...23. Then a part of a military uniform. You said... blip!...a badge. Our survey said... dong!...16. You're a little more than halfway there. And finally, an ingredient used in baking. You said... blip!...flour, which should get you lots of points. Our survey said... dong!...32. Clear the board, and let's bring out Michael! Matt got you 133 points, so you just need 67 to win. I really want you to win the 5 grand, and hopefully you'll be able to help. Now if you're ready, look straight ahead into that camera, and let's put 24 hours on the clock... dong!...as we reveal your partner's answers to the audience. The clock will start after I finish reading the first question; good luck. Name a mode of transportation that people refuse to ride because of fear.

(bells jangling) Turn around. Let's see if you get the $5,000. My first question was, name a mode of transportation that people refuse to ride because of fear. You said... blip!...a train. Of course, I've heard stories about wrecks, so it may be a very good answer. Our survey said... dong!...21. Airplane was the Number 1 answer, which Matt had. Next, a baseball player known to hit lots of home runs. You said... blip!...Willie Mays, the Say Hey Kid himself. Our survey said... dong!...only 4. Babe Ruth was the Number 1 answer. You're 42 points away from the cash, and the next question asked for a type of nut. You said... blip!...a pistachio. I see you're going more traditional this time. Our survey said... dong!...18. Believe it or not, almond was the Number 1 answer. I thought it would be a peanut, but almond it was. You're now 24 points away, as we go into the fourth question, in which I wanted a part of a military uniform. You said... blip!...a helmet. If 24 people said it, you win the $5,000. Our survey said... dong!(bells jangling) (1988 FF Win Cue) ...you win the cash! Boots were the Number 1 answer, and for an ingredient used in baking, flour was the Number 1 answer. (1988 FF Theme) The Kolsens just won $5,000 in Fast Money, and we'll be back to wrap it up after this.

The Kolsens will enter 1991 with $5,458 won in this game. Be sure to tune in to see if they can defend their championship against another family, and possibly win another $5,000. That's all the time we have for now. See you next time, and thanks for watching. So long, everybody!
