This coming Sunday, September 4th 2022, will mark exactly half a century since "The Joker's Wild" "The New Price Is Right" and "Gambit" all debuted on CBS Daytime.
OOOOOOOOOO it is so hard for me to fathom as I remember watching these first episodes FIFTY YEARS ago! It was two days before my first day of Kindergarten.
All three programs and their original hosts (Jack Barry, Bob Barker and especially Wink Martindale) will always hold an extra special place near and dear to my heart.
Just an extraordinary run for Price is Right hitting the half century mark! In his wildest dreams I can't imagine Mark Goodson ever thinking that the "new" Price would outlive him, especially by decades!
Happy 50th birthday to these programs. Thanks for all the memories!
