Back at NBC once more! Here's what's different:
-I will no longer do the opening spin at the start of each show. -Prizes are added to the wheel starting in Round 1. Only one Wheel Prize will be added per round, up to a maximum of three. -Landing on the Free Spin or a Wheel Prize now requires a correct letter to pick it up with no money offered. -All Wheel Prizes are removed from the wheel if a round begins as a Speed-Up.
Also, there's a change that I was not made aware of until my last run of daytime was long complete. Apparently sometime after the move to NBC, the minimum for solving the puzzle was reduced from $200 to $100. I will add this rule and apply it from 1991 through 1996. I found no instance last year where it affected the outcome of any games.
Bill Skinner is back for the ride. I need two challengers.

*contestants rush to their podiums* Audience: WHEEL!...OF!...FORTUNE! *1989 Changing Keys* Jim Thornton: From Net Game Central, the famous Wheel is spinning, spinning, spinning, and the players will be winning, winning, winning! Because there's lots of cash and some fabulous prizes just waiting to be won on Wheel of Fortune! With our host, Kevin Kolsen, and our hostess, Vanna White! Me: Hello! Thank you, everyone! Hi, Vanna! Hi, Jim! And hi to you at home, too. We're back at our permanent home here on NBC. A familiar setting, but it's back to the old network. We apologize if there was any confusion. What do you say we meet our contestants?
Starting in the red with Immanuel Tims. Immanuel, how's your summer going so far?

It’s going fine. It sadly does come to an end on Monday though, that’s when I go back to school

All right. We'll see if we can make your final days of summer some fun ones. Next to you is our returning champion, Bill Skinner. Bill has a one-day cash total of $2,350.
*applause*
I won't mince words about how that other network treated us. Your other show's on that network. How's it going for you so far?

So far, pretty good. I'm just getting settled in over there; the less said about how things ended for me on the third network, the better.

Well, maybe we'll both be reunited there together. It'll only take another 30 years or so for both of us. Finally, we'll talk with Matt Riggenberg. Matt, I hear you're going on a road trip soon. Now, I've seen both ends of Route 66, but nothing in between. Which parts have you seen?

Okay. You're gonna see a lot of America's heartland that way. Hope you enjoy that trip, and we wish you and your other players best of luck. $500 is the top dollar value for Round 1. We're playing for cash, but we are going to put prizes on the wheel, starting with this one.
Jim: It's archery fun for the whole family! It includes two crossbows: an OMP October Mountain Adventure bow for youths and a Bear Compound bow for the more experienced. The compound folds away for easy storage, so you and a companion can learn at your own pace. Each set also includes a pair of arm guards and a dozen Raider Platinum arrows. For the package, retail value: $720!
Takes me to my Boy Scout days. I may have never hit better than inner red, but I did make it to Eagle. Here's our first puzzle.
*puzzle reveal chimes*
Fictional Character is what we start out with. And as far as our contestants go, we start out with who won the number drawing.
It's Immanuel. All the best!
