My vacation is over, so it’s time to launch the pilot for The (New) $60,000 Hangman. This show is retooled after other versions of Hangman, split into two halves. The first half has 3 single-player rounds, and the second half has a “elimination” style game.
I need 4 people, 3 regular players (whom will be pulled out of the audience) and a stand-in champ. Who wants in?

Change of plans: for this pilot only, instead of having an intern champ, the winning players will play our midgame.
With that, standby for the top of the show!

*Narz-era Concentration theme plays* Joey Fatone: Today, our audience will be testing their skills and luck to try and win over...
$60,000
$60,000 in cash! Here today on...
Hangman! *cheers* And here's the man to get us started, Immanuel Tims!*more cheers as I come through the doors, I bow* Howdy folks! Welcome to our new edition of Hangman. This is the game you remember playing all of your life, some of you may remember a fate of a super edition of Hangman that started here on NBC many moons ago that still strives to this day, but this version is different. We'll give you all a chance to play in our studio audience, and even you folks at home can play too. Here's how this will work: I'll call you out from the studio audience one at a time, and you each will play a round of hangman and try to solve various puzzles before being hung. The top two winners of the day will then get a chance to battle it out head-to-head, before moving on to our Hangman Showdown to play for up to $60,000! *cheers* Thank God NBC's budget isn't at all tight. Let's go to the audience and find our first participant! *audience cheers, vamp of theme plays* (I spot Chris, who signed up first and is thus going first) You sir! Mr. Chambers it says on your name tag. In 25 words or less, please tell us your story.

We thank you for that indeed. *applause* Thank you for keeping your business open during these trying times. In the meantime, let's play Hangman. *puzzle cue, applause* We're starting our show with a 2 word puzzle. The object of the game is to solve the puzzle, and also try to make money with these dice. You'll roll the dice and whatever you roll will be multiplied by $25. I'll show you an example: 4 and 2. That makes 6, we multiply every roll by $25 and you'll call a letter for that amount, $150 in this case. But be careful, if you call a letter that's not in the puzzle, or if you roll a 7 or 11, you lose a turn and a hangman body gets put on the board. Try not to get hung, as that'll disqualify you from our midgame. Any questions?

Then go ahead and roll, good luck Chris! *audience cheers as...Chris rolls* *audience groans* And right off the bat, a dud roll. But that's only one dud, plenty of game left. Roll again: *audience cheers as...Chris rolls* There we go, we'll multiply that by $25. For $200, what letter would you like?

Roll.
Question..
If I decide to roll may I call a letter also (In the same post) or do I need to wait for you to post what I have rolled?

Post by babytims on Jun 2, 2022 8:23:14 GMT -5
(I would say wait, you can roll a bad roll.) *audience cheers as...Chris rolls* *audience groans* Another 7. That number is unlucky in this game and it seems easy to turn up. Head and body now. Tread lightly. Roll again. *audience cheers as...Chris rolls* Big 5's. 10 multiplied by $25 means this letter is worth $250. What letter would you like?
