He was the star of the sitcom Full House, as well as host of America's Funniest Home Videos and 1 vs. 100. The standup comic was in the middle of a national tour when he was found dead in his Florida hotel room:

I learned of his passing last night. So very saddened to hear. I took comfort in knowing that he seemed to have passed during his tour and he seemed really pleased with his last show especially.

He also did a fine job of hosting 1 vs. 100 on NBC.

Indeed very sad news. Condolences to his many family members, friends and his fans, of which I was one.

Help control the pet population, have your pet spayed or neutered.
