Current Price is Right question

Not sure if many of us still watch the show, I usually just get updates.

In any event, of the 79 current pricing games in rotation for season 50, what would be your least favorite line up of games?

For the record, I've included 2 car games, one small prize game, one grocery item game, and then the "quicky" games as I call them.

For me this line up would be the pits:



COMING OR GOING

ONE WRONG PRICE

STACK THE DECK

DOUBLE CROSS

THAT'S TOO MUCH

Coming or Going has such a bland game prop, like a little see saw..ho hum, I'd rather see Double Prices to be honest!

One Wrong Price gets overplayed and for a show that's called Price is RIGHT, this game just does not seem to fit...give me Most Expensive or Easy as 1 2 3 over this any day!

Stack The Deck in theory is great as it involves both grocery item pricing and car pricing.  I love games that incorporate both, and this is the only grocery item/car game that does so.  That being said, this game seems so unwinnable.  If they played for far more expensive cars I'd like it more...or if they made the game just a TAD bit easier to win...

Double Cross is meh to me.  Yes the board is state of the art, but just sliding something into place on a touch screen is boring to me.

That's Too Much...I've detested this game from day 1.  Not only due to it being almost unwinnable, but again, it goes totally against the entire premise of Price is Right, getting as close to a price as you can withOUT going over!

Secret "X", cool board, the pricing element is cool but perfect playing still doesn't guarantee a win.  If playing for a car or a big cash prize I can maybe see that.....but for the standard fare that is played for in this game, it's meh.  Also Kathy "Fingers" Greco created this game and I'm not a huge fan of hers...


Just curious to hear what you think of my list, and see if you have ones you'd like to share and compare.

I would also cringe if I were playing for a car in Stack The Dack. Needs to be played for expensive cars (a la 3 Strikes and Golden Road).

Pick A Number's also bland. But, to be fair, is necessary to keep in case electronics, props, and/or something else intended for another game aren't/isn't ready. (As a former TV newscast producer, I'm a believer in Plan B.)

Yes Pick A Number is bland, but not so much when I try to think of it as a mini version of "Golden Road", just playing for one prize instead of 3!


The show, if they haven't already done so, should do a "Green" episode, playing games that require no lights or electronics (a.k.a. Money Game).

Triple Play is a game that needs to be reworked yesterday -- but, at the rate we're going, it won't.

Something about "pick the price that's closer/closest to the ARP without going over" rubbed me the wrong way. The ARP should be listed among the choices (a la Five Price Tags and Gas Money). For those who remember Net Price is Right, this is how Jay Lewis hosted the game.
