Whenever you win the question, you have the right to change your 6 into-- --a Queen. [CHEERS]Very good change, Kevin.

Freeze!

Post by tmann3x on Mar 20, 2015 21:46:54 GMT -5
And we'll move Kevin's freeze bar. Right now, both players need two cards to win the first game of the match. Question #3 is coming right up. *grabs card* Kevin... here's an Educated Guess question. According to a CNN/ORC Poll (as of October 24-26, 2014), they had asked the people this question... Do you approve or disapprove of the way Barack Obama is handling his job as president? What percentage did they have voted disapprove?

I don't think a lot's changed in the past few months and given the results of the last election, nothing's going to go well for him. I'll say 55% disapprove.

[DING]55% of them have disapproved that President Obama is handling his job as president. What do you think of that answer, David... higher or lower?

I think it will be higher than that.

I think it will be higher than that. Any reasons why you think it's higher, David?

I don't really know.

OK. [DING]The actual percentage of internet viewers have disapproved that President Obama is handling his job as president is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]53%. Not higher... it's a little bit lower. Kevin... you have an 8 as your base card. Play or change it?

Change the eight!

Changing your 8 into-- --a Queen. [CHEERS]Another great change on that card. Call on your Queen higher or lower, Kevin.

Post by tmann3x on Mar 22, 2015 7:41:45 GMT -5
And we'll move Kevin's freeze bar as he's one card away from that win while David needs only two for the first round win. *grabs card* Fourth and final question mean it's time to play SUDDEN DEATH. Someone has to win it on this play of the cards. David... we've asked 100 child psychiatrists-- Do you think it is harmful for a 13-year-old boy to have a pin-up poster on his bedroom wall? How many of them say yes... it is harmful for a teenage boy to have a pin-up poster on his bedroom wall?
Post by gameboy2000 on Mar 22, 2015 8:46:28 GMT -5
Pin up posters might teach guys to treat women like sex objects and that is harmful to any guy at any age, so I say that is going to be a high number. I will say 78.

Post by tmann3x on Mar 22, 2015 9:01:17 GMT -5
[DING]78 out of 100 say it is harmful for a 13-year-old boy to have a pin-up poster on his bedroom wall. What do you think of that answer, Kevin... higher or lower?
Post by koopakid17 on Mar 22, 2015 9:25:31 GMT -5
It has to be lower. I think psychiatrists would want boys their age to have desires. They wouldn't want them to give in.

Post by tmann3x on Mar 22, 2015 15:13:41 GMT -5
[DING]This will determine control of the cards. David says 78 and Kevin says it's lower... the actual number of child psychiatrists say it is harmful for a 13-year-old boy to have a pin-up poster on his bedroom wall is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]37. Kevin is right again... it is lower. Kevin... Sudden Death time. You have a 9 and need one more card. You have the option of changing your 9 since you've won SD. If you pass it to David, he MUST play on his 7. What's your decision... play or pass?
Post by koopakid17 on Mar 22, 2015 15:24:42 GMT -5
I gotta pass!
Post by tmann3x on Mar 22, 2015 15:33:30 GMT -5
Well, David... Kevin has decided to pass the call of the cards to you. With your 7, you must call both cards right. Make one mistake and Kevin wins the first round of the match. Call higher or lower on your 7, challenger.

==================================================================================================================== *fade to logo* George Gray: Closed Captioning sponsored today by the following--*back to studio* [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Welcome back to Card Sharks. At the end of the first round, our champion Kevin have won the first game and a cash bonus of $500. David will try his luck and win round 2. And during the commercial break, our guest dealers Rachel & Amber have placed a new set of cards for both players. Let's begin round 2 with our very first question for our champion. *grabs card* Kevin... we've brought back the 10 bachelorettes, as they're now standing in the Contestants' Row are, and asked this question. Have you ever lost a man because you said "yes" too quickly? How many of the ladies say they have had lost a man because you said "yes' too quickly?

That's one of the no-nos I keep hearing about on dates and I'm not surprised if it happened to these ladies here. They were probably inexperienced like I will be if I decide to start dating. I'll say 3 of them have.
