Immanuel, welcome to the stage! The game you're about to try to win is here at the turntable, however the prize you're about to try to win is over yonder! It's a BRAND NEW CADILLAC!!!!!!!! And we have here the return of the very first pricing game to ever be retired.....the unofficial name for this game was Bullseye, but we now call it "ZERO IN" because Immanuel, you will get 7 bids to try to price that car exactly to the dollar! We'll keep track of your range on this board too, and I can tell you right now that the actual retail price of that magnificent automobile is HIGHER than $88,100!!! And it is LOWER than $88,350. Give me your first bid as you try to zero in on the right price. If you can do so in 7 bids OR LESS...you'll own that Cadillac! What's your first bid Immanuel?

I'm working on trying to retool as many of the 33 retired pricing games as possible.
Some like Give or Keep / Finish Line were essentially the very same game, so for that reason I would only do one, and it would be Give or Keep.
Finish Line is far more graphically challenging, and was far more slow paced oddly enough, especially considering it involved a horse race!
Clearance Sale was the same game as Eazy As 1-2-3, except it was price tags instead of blocks that players put with the prizes. That being said, I do have an idea of how to retool that game.
Right now however, I have a retooled version of one of the only two pricing games ever to involve two players (The other being the Phone Home Game)...
This game is Double Bullseye, played very similary to the Zero-In game that Immanuel helped me to demonstrate, but involves two players bidding back and forth to try to get the exact price of a car first, with the host telling each player if the right price is higher or lower than what their opponent's bid was.
I believe this game was used as a showcase game in other countries.
Anyhow I need two players to try to win a new car to take on one another. One rule change with this game is...each player will have a maximum of FIVE bids now to get the price exactly right. If both players fail to do so, no car will be awarded.
Also this will be played for a less valuable car, and I'll probably give some kind of opening range before bidding starts.
The first two to sign up to play this game will get to do so.
Thank you,
Bill

David and Chris, welcome to the stage. The two of you will be bidding back and forth against one another for a maximum of five bids each to try to win the prize that you're about to play for. This is the KEY to that prize... And here IS that prize! It's a brand new car!!!!!! It's the 2022 Kia Forte L X S featuring a 2 litre engine intelligent variable transmission front wheel drive plus edge protection. Chris since you signed up first, you will have the first option. Do you want to bid first or second?

The first of a maximum possible total of five bids from you David... David you say $15,000 Is that right? (buzzer) No. Chris, the actual retail price is HIGHER than $15,000. Now we'll take your first of a maximum of five bids on that car Chris. What do you say?

|
|
Post by EaglesWings on Nov 27, 2021 13:27:52 GMT -5
I'll say $ 20,100

Chris' first bid of 5 is $20,100 Does he win that car?!?!? (buzzer) No, sorry...the right price is still higher yet. Back to you David for your second try.

David's second bid is $23,000. Is he a winner? (buzzer) No... $23,000 was too high, the right price is lower. And now you can see by the board it's higher than $20,100 but lower than $23,000 and Chris it's your turn to place your second bid on that automobile.
