Played "Spin-Off" (really Roll-Off) with my son yesterday

My son and I did a mock game based off of Doug Morris' "Spin-Off".

My son wanted to play Yahtzee but I recommended trying this game.

In lieu of questions, we simply drew from a deck of 52 playing cards and the high draw got to "spin" (roll the dice) first.

We did 3 games in round 1, 3 more in round 2, I ended up winning $7,250 to $3,000.  I ended up winning 5 of the 6 roll offs.

Then he asked if there was a bonus game so I did that as well and ended up with four 5's for $25,000 more.

Made for a fun time, and I thank you Doug for the inspiration.

Niiice. Did you roll "normal" dice or "poker" dice?

Normal Yahtzee dice.

I wish I had regular poker dice.

I have a set but it's 9 dice with six sides each, all 52 playing cards represented plus 2 jokers and it comes with a spinner thing.

Haven't played it in forever though.
