Hello folks, I asked these in another thread, but I felt it would be more appropriate if it were asked here:
If you don't want to answer or if I am breaking any rules, I understand and the mods may delete this:
1) The pics on my end when I am hosting come out super small, how do I resize it like the other board members do?
2) What do you guys use for your shows? Like for the sets and stuff?

Hi there. Perhaps this visual may help. I believe you use postimage, yes? The drop down menu allows you to select various sizes. Mine is set on "Do not resize my image" and that seems to work quite nicely for me. You can of course select different sizes as you can see here, and perhaps experiment with some to see which one works best for you. As far as sets, I usually design my own by doing screen grabs from old youtube videos, and then tinkering with some things to make it look similar. When I hosted "Pay Cards", I tried to make the set look cozy but somewhat "dark", based on how the set appeared on the 1969 edition. As for the cards themselves, I simply did screen captures of the cards when playing the Super Pay Cards end game. With "Three On A Match", I updated the images originally used on the matching board for the various items that were used (fruit, animals, outer space, movie stars, classic horror monsters, U.S. Presidents, hats, musical instruments and card suits... I did a slight redesign too on the "No Match" cards. More recently I went from using color photos for the hats, instruments and outer space themed boards to using the maroon backgrounds and then white photos of the hats, instruments and outer space items, a throwback and a nod to how the original boards would look on the original show. I hope this was helpful. Best, Bill

I've been using MS Paint for all my graphics since I started hosting shows way back in 2005. Operating systems after XP don't include it, so with each new laptop purchase I've had to download a patch to get it installed. With very few exceptions, almost all my boards and graphics are made from scratch. When I used to host Press Your Luck and Whammy, I used the Whammy icons from YouTube screengrabs.
I usually try to look up what fonts the actual shows used as well. If there is a font I can't find, I look for a close equivalent to download instead. When I use displays such as eggcrates and vanes, I make the background of each black and the unused segment an "off-black" color. That way I can fill it appropriately either with the copy/paste function or the bucket icon.
I dabbled for a time in creating Classic Concentration rebuses. The pictures I used were from free-to-use clip art sites and vectors from Googling what I needed.
I use imgur to host my pictures. Up until a few years ago, I had to select the images I needed to upload. Now I can click and drag them onto my browser. I first used Domain Dlx which hasn't been around for years. Then, I used ImageShack until that became a paid service.
I've even included my own twists to the graphics. For instance, you may have noticed that Free Play is a different color for each round of Wheel: Seasons. What I do is generate a random RGB hex and incorporate that into the wheels for each round. The same also applies when someone lands on it in-game, only it's in text. Free Play can virtually never be the same exact color twice.
If you have any other questions, I'll be glad to answer them.
